Don't know if this is known or not...

Was playing Franchise last night, was about to make a pinch hitting substitution, but the pitcher must've been beginning his windup because it wouldn't let me make any subs. On a whim, I went to "Quick Manage" or whatever it was called, and that let menu let me make the pinch hit sub. Then I exited out and went back to the live game. It let my pinch hitter come to the plate... but here's the kicker:

Most in-game player stats were reset, and my starting pitcher regained full Energy and Confidence (it was like the 7th inning and he was approaching 100 pitches). But everyone that came to the plate after that was shown as being 0-0 in the game, and Vasgersian would announce "Coming to the plate for his first plate appearance". The game ended (I won) after my starting pitcher threw a complete game, around 130 pitches (it kept counting those for some reason), but the box score showed that he only threw 3 innings.

Anyway, don't know what impact this glitch had on my season stats or anything else, but it was a quick (accidental) way to reset my pitcher's Energy meter back to full.

Line drive to third base (foul territory). Game ended play before catch was made (actually, it was made - but wasn't recognized).

Fielders diving after the ball for no reason after a hit. I don’t know why this happens is not my controller cuz is brand new .. Sony fix this plz

baserunning- guys holding and negating a run on balls clearly in the gap

disclaimer: i love the game. i play it everyday. (all modes except for Diamond Dynasty, Road to September or whatever its called, Moments? or whatever its called, exhibition, online pvp, nor homerun derby) lol coulda just said Franchise & RTTS but i digress.


This is happening every single game now. Ive been tagged out at 2nd because of 2 guys standing on the same base because i refuse to hit the ball in the gap over their heads and stay at 1st because the 2 runners on are only advancing one base. Every game i either give up a run or honestly when i see it happening fast enough i jump into the pause menu, switch team control, and allow my guy to score like he should have.

this is a silly problem. it should not be happening. its the AI, come on now you know whether or not its going to be caught anyway. stop trying to look "realistic" by having guys wait like this. its not realistic anyway. guys dont wait halfway down the line on a ball hit deep anyway, they go 90% of the way cuz they still will have plenty of time to get back if its caught.

but never, never will you a situation where the batter would have a stand-up double, yet the runners on 1st and 2nd only advance 1 base. the worst part about it is they do it on their own, even when not auto-baserunning, and they will ignore and override button presses to do it.


just dawned on me. would it be a problem/issue with the Baserunning Aggressiveness attribute?

The Show 20 is by far the most sloppy buggy version yet. There's so much wrong with it. I don't report them because it is a total waste of time. They have not fixed anything I have reported so forget it. Here's a few things broken.

my player in rtts has his left arm sleeve change colors every time at bat. it goes from a brighter black to black every at bat. every single at bat. he's a lefty with Eddie Mathews stance on the rockies team as a 1st baseman. no sleeve on right arm.

my player don't have his stats come up when walking to the plate. in the beginning it was ok, but now tons of abs without it.

players come to bat with their stats cut off at the end of the stats window. the white box with the batters stats shows the first 2 then on the right it is cut off.

commentary sucks major. it tells you about the first game of a series win when it is not the first game and tons of other blunders.

in franchise when pitching the mode is classic. so when the direction of the pitch icon comes up it swirls around the screen every time. previous games would just pop up correctly. now a change up, the line will start somewhere else and work its way downwards, same with all other pitches.

fps is horrible as all versions have been. it is despicable they refuse to hit 60fps contestant. so when hitting, the game skips once the ball is hit sometimes when I swing, jerky in replays, etc etc.

when creating team in roster the game removes players you add to the roster. you can search for them and they are on mlb but you can't find them.

in rtts I complete a challenge and it don't show it till after the next hitter sometimes.

I have reported to their bug report site a few of these issues and they refuse to do anything about it. very annoying.

everytime now. forget about scoring from 1st on a ball in the gap. why is this happening on when i want to control the runners. i dont even have auto running on yet they still override me and just sit there!!

Is anyone still having issues with throwing errors in the show 20? All of a sudden in the last week, I have played 5 games and have multiple errors throwing to 1st 3rd base. In one game, I had 7 straight throwing errors to 1st and 2nd. In one game, I decided to play the game out just to see. 14 throwing errors smh. Not playing again until they patch this.

relief pitcher stats don't show up in the MLB network theme anymore. And "starting lineup" prompt keeps appearing in the top corner aswell. Didn't have this problem before the patch..

OK. Before I open a series of bug reports I just need to make sure I haven't taken a few more steps to insanity.


1. Giants vs. Padres. 2 outs in the 9th, game tied, Padres batting. Runners on 2nd and 3rd. Profar tries a squeeze, great bunt but Moranta grabs it and before I can toss the ball to 1st the game ends giving the Pads the win. I had him at 1st but the game ended. I'm old. Did they change the rules of baseball? When I threw him out at 1st inning should have been over and going to the 10th.


2. Pitchers madly running to 1st base to backup of 1st baseman for no apparent reason.


3. Runners on base standing. I had Nick Sensel who stood on 2nd base with a Votto shot in the gap. Now I have Votto and Sensel on 2nd.


That's all for now.


Love the game but she is really buggy. There are other 'things' that I simply have to start capturing videos to prove it.

Unless you misread/remembered the # of outs, yes it should've went to next inning.

Franchise glitch - my defense can no longer be controlled. I can still toggle the throw but the movements are all automatic, has anyone else experienced this? Completely ruined my franchise mode as i was midseason and this just started happening.

Every year I make a mostly sim franchise with a ridiculously loaded team. Just to see what happens at the extremes. Found this year that RBI's aren't recorded properly past a certain point. Completely unrealistic numbers we're talking about, but that's kinda the point of doing this. I'm not sure what the cutoff is, maybe it's the single season record, but when looking at the statistics on player cards you can see that once you pass it the count starts back at 0 because the player will have more HR's than RBI's. The game is still recording the real total because you'll see the actual number on the pathetically small records page, but it won't match the stats on the player card.

One new weird one in playoff mode , Mitterwald flew out to Brock LF and he was given a single and the announcer said some there's a wild throw to second ?
But the one I see most regular with auto fielding on is plays up the middle on easy DP nobody goes to 2b reguardless of my command.
At key moments it wrecks a game and with auto baserunning my runners still are brain dead on obvious gappers .
Oh Mitterwald wasn't credited with hit on the glitch.

May have been mentioned but when using mlb network broadcast the prompt to turn activate the starting lineup using L2 flashes briefly. Happens even after already using the feature.

Kinda annoying seeing it constantly flashing.
