In Franchise...do I have to control all teams to force trade...budget or “contact constraints “ won’t allow me to trade .
I thought there was a way when setting up Franchise to turn off contracts or budget but it looks locked I couldn’t change that option.

Any help will be welcomed...

of course there's no trades when you set it to manual control! Then what, your gonna have no trades or make them all yourself?

Yes. That’s what I plan on doing. Make them all myself, actually.

In Franchise are you guys seeing the lineup screen..the one where they cut to the line up and there is a player holding a bat...and there is a little commentary about the lineup .
I had it in “ Play Now” ...also in Franchise in 19..just wondering if you guys are seeing it I’m not.

1. Playoff eligibility wrong. Only players on active 26 man roster or IL as if September 1st eligible for the postseason.

actual rule is anyone on 40 man as of August 30th is eligible. **bug report filed

How in the world have they still not fixed this? It's been years since that rule changed and I bring it up to them every year.

So franchise folk got "full minors" that were far from actually being "full". Then, to cap it off, they don't even work correctly in franchise mode. Awesome!

After your leadoff hitter bats, the camera will cut to a wide shot and you will get a “Press L2 for lineup” and if you do, you will get the lineup commentary that is similar to MLB 19

Does this work for Cpu vs Cpu games...?
That’s how I play last year it was automatic...tried L2 did nothing maybe I’m doing something wrong

SDS should either work with the people who build the full minor rosters to edit the final product so it functions properly or allow for users to opt for the generated minor league rosters we had in the past.

One possible workaround would be to save the final live roster update from mlbts 19 which was September 27 and then use that roster for your franchise. The final update is likely to mirror the first roster of 20 and will have the functional minor league players.

Not in my carryover.

I removed Greg Garcia from the 40 man roster and he cleared waivers after 2 days.

This isn't a carryover. I found out that if you just go straight to regular season from spring training, anyone on waivers is still there. You have to actually sim to regular season.

The exception is a free agent I signed before Spring training. There is no waiver icon in front of his name but if I try to do ANYTHING, including releasing him, it says I can't cuz he's on waivers.
