I ended up with a big inning and Keys hits another HR in the 8th to bring Peterson up again. So I'm thinking all I need is a single to complete that cycle, and then BOOM...homers again! Back 2 back AGAIN with keys in consecutive innings!! I'm loving this roster set!
Same here! This roster has really saved this game for me. I used to be a real roster guy, always starting over when a new Ridin roster dropped and eventually losing interest and not finishing a season.

I cannot stop playing with these rosters as I have become totally invested in my guys! I think a big difference for me is with a real MLB roster, we have a pre conceived notion of how most players season should work out, and when something goes off that path it's like the game isn't real to life. Let's say some "scrub" for lack of a better term has a breakout year, I would sit and say that would never happen, and i would hesitate playing or maybe start over. But with these rosters anything goes because we have no idea how these guys season should be, which makes it so much more enjoyable for me.

I seriously don't think I can go back to a real MLB roster, I want to continue this franchise in year to year saves. Thanks Bacon for this great set!

With Bacon releasing an update to his rosters soon and me really enjoying the minor league experience I've had in my Padres franchise I'm thinking of starting up a new experiment. Thinking I'll switch all the franchise stuff to auto, pick a team and just play the minor league games. Put myself at the complete mercy of the AI's decisions and just play some minor league baseball. Hoping for just a chill experience where I just play ball and enjoy the game.

The Sacramento Leopard (63-59) secured a much-needed win over the Tacoma Vipers (46-74) though they remain 2.5 GB of the Wild Card spot due to the current holder, the Portland Pioneers, also winning. Sacramento spread out the offense, scoring in seven of the nine innings to win 11-4. The big blow with a 7th inning grand slam that blew the game open.

        W: Jeffrey Resop (6-11, 4.17 ERA) 7.0IP, ER, 9K
        L: Adam Jackson (4-10, 4.01 ERA) 4.0IP, 5ER, K

        Colt Snow: 3-4, HR (27), 4 RBI (80), 2 R (71), 2B (27)
        Junior Richard: 1-5, HR (14), 4 RBI (59), R (39)
        Reid Fortenberrg: 3-4, 3 R (53), BB (44), 2B (11)

Finally had a chance to put these pics together (using my poor Photoshop skills) to show my divisions. I have yet to come up with alternative naming, so for reference top to bottom is ALE, ALC, and ALW...

The race for the NL Playoffs is heating up. However, this game was one-sided. Montreal (64-59) moved to 2.0 GB of the Wild Card spot with a 12-0 thrashing of the NL West leading Portland Pioneers (66-57). It started with two runs in the 2nd, followed by four in the 3rd, and five in the 4th to blow the game wide open.

              W: Corey Kensing (8-6, 3.49 ERA) 9.0IP, 0ER, 3K, 3 H
              L: Justin McCoy (11-4, 4.16 ERA) 2.2IP, 6ER, K

              Corey Kane: 4-5, HR (13), 3 RBI (46), 3 2B (23), 4 R (33)
              Alexis Moya: 3-5, 3 RBI (14), R (16)
              Corey Kensing: 3-4, 3 RBI (4)

April 15th (Happy Jackie Robinson Day) - The Padres 2021 season gets off to a respectable 11-8 start good enough for second place in the west. Despite having the worst offense in the league pitching and defense has been solid and kept the us in most games. To date San Diego has only committed 3 errors for a .997 fielding percentage and leads the MLB in that category.

Kole Robertson (2-0, 48 K's, 0.30 ERA in 30.1 innings) looks like he wants to win a second consecutive Cy Young. Dylan Netzel (.309 BA, 1 HR, 8 RBI) is picking up where he left off last season and has taken to his role as San Diego's new lead-off hitter. Cole Dyer (.326 BA, 6 RBI in 43 plate appearances) is currently splitting time in RF and making his case to be an everyday player through solid fielding and clutch hitting.

I am loving these custom leagues on here! Some of those uni's are outstanding! I don't have the patience to create a whole league or I would. Hopefully next year has a Uniform vault!

I’m about to start a second franchise myself. I don’t wanna give up on the one I’ve played so much already so this is the move.

Just started season 2 with your previous roster. Now with the new ones out today I’ll be in the trenches creating a 30 team league with the new rosters. No shows with the wife for a few days😆

Yeah I am starting over. Because I am weak like that and I have issues. But hopefully this is the last time. I actually have a plan and that should help.

At this point I'm over 200 games into this Padres franchise playing every pitch. Too many storylines have developed and am now far to invested to start over. Unless SDS does something that makes it impossible to carry over this save to new consoles I'm in this franchise for the long haul. Boredom will be the only reason I start over and this will continue to be my main franchise.

That's why I'm excited to just do a minor league only franchise and let the computer handle everything. Still get the thrill of the new update but can be hands off and just have a bit of fun.

Edit: I view the new update similar to a buying a new car and you find out the next years model has a cool new feature you'd love to have. Sure it's cool but there's nothing wrong with your brand new car there will always be something better to come along just enjoy what you have.

Sent from a galaxy far far away.
