Thanks for the reply speed. I remember you from way back when.

I wonder if you or someone can tell me now , I just discovered the Customize...Eqiuipment. Takes me a while to notice stuff. Anyway, it appears it is supposed to add to my attributes, but I see no change.

I equipped a different bat, batting glove, fielding glove etc. Each of them apparently supposed to increase various attributes, but nothing changed. Whassup with that?

    Thx

Always used to be 45, heavy regression seemed to kick in around age 37. This is based on mlb 12ish which is the last time i simmed a career with a guy that long.

Are those attributes capped? I'm not sure. I'm all geared up with boosted equipment and it works for me.

Is this game being completely broken even up for debate anymore? The CPU has scripted the entire game and will neutralize your entire team to see its will be followed through. I've gotten on base, stolen 2nd and 3rd with 0 outs, and been left stranded there after my teammates can't get the ball out of the infield(or even in play at all) literally 90% of the time. I'm 40 games into my second(first MLB) season and this has happened at least 20 times thus far. The mass majority of those instances involve the pitcher striking out the side without even as much as a groundout. There has always been subtle influence in The Show, but it was always not too much to break the 4th wall. At this point it is so blatant that it's completely ruining my experience.

Ended April hitting my 101st career home run (forgot to record #100).

I dont believe it actually shows how much you improved with your equipment on unless you go to player comparison then it will say + however much it improved your overall too. Mine is currently +11 with my equipment.

Playing for the Brewer's I was on top of my game, 8 innings 12 SO perfect game. 97 pitches, sure take me out of the game. I was so mad I stopped playing last night.

Minnesota, but with Bacon's roster. I hit cleanup (because the game won't let Anomalies leadoff like Acuña, ya know, the player they're crafted after) so the best hitters are ahead of me in the lineup, but there are some quality bats behind me. Bats that seem to hit about .380 anytime I make an out ahead of them.

2 HRs for 7 RBIs and completing a 3-game sweep of the now 2nd place Angels.

Is it me or is it more difficult to gain pitch control in 20? Back in 19 control can be gain from ground ball out or fly ball out, now I don't get control in 20 doing that.

To my knowledge, there is no way to gain control in-game, only through training. Meanwhile, you lose it for every pitch in the dirt, making the system extremely imbalanced.

Randomly asked by my teammate to hit 3 HRs in the next 3 games and I accepted the challenge just for the hell of it. First two games, zero bombs. Then last 3 at-bats of the third game: solo HR, solo HR, 3-run HR -- first time I've ever hit more than 2 HRs in a RTTS game.

The other day, I fired up my 2nd year at the MLB level Giants SS RTTS player who is still only a platoon player on the team where he was temporarily sent into a game in the late innings to pinch hit for the pitcher. What happened next was something bizarre, something I've never seen in the 3 years I have been playing RTTS games. You see I was playing the game in the accelerated mode where only my RTTS player appearances were actually played. My SS stuck out and what happened immediately next was that I noticed a home run was hit, and the game ended soon afterwards. At the time I assumed that yes I struck out and the batter who came to the plate immediately after me hit the big fly. But when I inspected the box score after the game, not only did my RTTS guy struck out, but he was also credited as the one who hit the game winning HR.

One strike out, one hit, one home run and one RBI all in the same plate appearance.
