First and foremost, a mode that functions correctly where I am playing against the computer, instead of having to baby sit the computer constantly to make it even vaguely playable.

There should be an option to turn off quirks and happiness. Close to home is a great example. Most of those guys spend years in the minors and are thrilled to be in MLB regardless of the location.

Agree. This seems like a feature more in line with a college sports game such as football.

1) Vast improvements to Spring Training.
1B) Larger squads of sixty or more players with invitees
1C) Actual Spring Training grounds.
2) More and more commentary that actually follows the demographic of the season, pre season, post season.
3)More stats and better improved graphics of stats that bring it in line with modern day computing.
4)Better coverage of Play Offs, Awards Pre game interviews etc
5) More Improvement of crowds and crowd ambience.
6) Make the game look and play as good as the promotional vids instead of the complete opposite
7) Make the game the fans want, not what you want, for the fans
8 ) Make MLB 21 worth buying on the PS5 for its franchise, not just its dynasty

- Teams that are buyers and sellers, competing and tanking. That affects free agency, the trade deadline, and lineup construction.
- Editable managers/coaches with tendencies and traits.
- Realistic AI logic for CPU teams. Seeing players who were just signed in FA getting traded drives me crazy.
- CPU managers doing things differently in the playoffs with their bullpens.
- Budgets that reflect real life. The Yankees and Dodgers should always be spending more than the Rays.

Things I would add.


1. Check temperature at the park whenever.
2. Fans in the stands with masks on.
3. Players getting temperature checks.


Only kidding on 2 and 3.


I do like that they finally fixed Wrigley Field and you can actually see the vine go green as the season progresses.


I need fans that spill beers and security at the park escorting fans out of the park.

I don't think MLB would go for that.

I read someplace things have to be approved by MLB to make it into the game. I can't say if that's true or not.

I would love to be able to control the number of teams in each league as well and how many divisions and the number of teams in each division. This would also include every historic stadium.

Being able to play a 55, 64, or 78 replay with the correct number of teams would be incredible.
