I don;t think so I still here for the 1000th time about where someone was drafted and how kids are buying his jersey. I want to throw the controller at the tv every time I hear that.

or about how they have had to go deep in their BP it might effect them for the rest of the series' yeah right..

the only part I have really heard that was new was they were bantering about a 4 run leave and how the closer now won't be happy that he can't come into the game and get a save. that's about it

There’s a few new lines. Not much but it does feel a little more in sync than last year but that’s my opinion.

Feels to me like they cleaned up the commentary a bit this year. Last year DeRo and Plesac would ramble on and on and so far in my gams this year they seem to come in say their bits more short. I’ve even noticed some moments when nobody talks and you can just take in the atmosphere.

Anytime you bring in a left handed reliever, they'll talk about the new 3 batter minimum rule. So that's new but gets old very quickly

Yep that is new but they say it EVERY TIME for EVERY left handed player that their role is now changed. doesn't matter if they were a specialist lefty or not they will say it for every one of them

Ive said it before and I’ll say it again.
I want them to wipe out all commentary and start fresh. I’m so sick of the exact same thing every single game when doing certain things. I beat the all time win streak record as a team and every single game they say they wonder if I can break it. Every home run has the same from 10 years ago. Things like this shows a total lack of care. Lazy.

I’d like way more player specific. Record specific etc. They intro batter walk up the same all the time. Needs more variety. UUUUGGGGHHHH!!!!

They did shorten a lot of lines. You don’t got derosa talking about “how in the 90s, pitchers worked East-west” 1900 times and when you do, it doesn’t bleed into 4 pitches later, it is done before the next pitch.

I do like the commentary more this year. They seem to have more variety with shorter lines that tend to be more on-point with the action.

It’s not that different than last year however.

I noticed Derosa re-recorded the massive power line. Why? Just say something new instead of redoing an exact line from previous years

I've pretty much muted commentary this year and increased the crowd, PA, and other sounds. I just can't take another year of the same old lines.

There is new commentary this year as they at times will reference the stats that pop up on the scorebug.

I remember MLB 12 having good commentary.
