my problem has been the AI just swinging at everything early in the count. So not only do I get low strikeout numbers, but low pitch counts in late innings as well

I can consistently get hitters to two strikes but can very rarely get a third strike. Anything remotely close is fouled off and anything too far off the plate is taken.

My only pitcher with decent strikeout numbers is Jon Lester.

I'm almost throwing exclusively out of the zone with 2 strikes and I'm seeing some decent K numbers

try playing about at least 20 Play Now (or Spring Training) games with Dynamic Difficulty set at HoF, and the dynamic slider set at 10 and see if you can naturally maintain staying at the HoF level instead of forcing yourself to play there

this year you can set the starting point for Dynamic where you want it

I'm getting realistic strikeout numbers with the Cubs (only played like 7 games so far). I did lower many of the Cubs bullpen guys too (thought they were overrated).

I'm using HOF but w/ Meter pitching.

It’s the interface for sure too. I use classic and classic doesn’t seem to jive well with HOF. That’s just my opinion of course.

I started all-star dynamic had 12k 0 walks 0 hits through 6 with Cole. Finished with 4 more K and 1 hit. I ended up with many more K but was too easy. I'm hoping dynamic finds a sweet spot. HOF doesn't allow for swing in misses for me on classic.

I use classic everything pitching wise except cpu power on 6. It’s super fun. If you miss you’re screwed. arenado just hit a 487ft HR against me about 5 minutes ago

I feel as though timing is the likely key to both lowering home run totals and increasing strikeouts for both CPU and user.

I just went seven innings with Lester, one strikeout. Ugh. I get so many two strike counts but can't get the third. This is getting old, fast.

I don't want to dominate and have a million strikeouts. I just don't want to be dead last in the league and have 3 strikeouts per nine with guys that have a career of 9 to 11 per nine.

I play on legend meter pitching with CPU timing on 4, and I get a decent amount of strikeouts. Not much but lowering too many CPU batting sliders makes them anemic on offense.

Played some more game of HOF Pitching. Strikeout numbers aren't looking great either. Pitching great... but everything is put into play.
