Played some more game of HOF Pitching. Strikeout numbers aren't looking great either. Pitching great... but everything is put into play.

Use Mike Lowes sliders on hof or legend with the inputs of your choice.

The inability of my pitchers to get any strikeouts is making me want to stop playing this game. It’s beyond frustrating.

1. Are you using default sliders, a tried an true custom slider set from these forums or are you tinkering and just guessing on the sliders?


If you tinker, you have to play a crap ton of games before you can make any adjustments to get a proper sample size.


2. Is the difficulty too high?


3. Are you sure it's not just your pitching? (no offense)


4. Maybe try a different pitching style? classic / meter etc.

I’ve played thousands of games of The Show, I’m a long, long time veteran of the series and baseball games in general. I play classic pitching on hall of fame with no visual aides.

I know how to pitch and work batters. I’ve never had issues quite like this before. I looked back and through 15 games the most strikeouts I’ve recorded in one game is 10.
I consistently record 4-5 strikeouts a game.

I’m last in the league and it just ruins my immersion playing. It drives me insane.

I play pretty close to what Armor uses every year. In season's past I've had lower strikeout totals than I'd like but never to this much of an alarming degree. I'm never dead last in the league. I currently have CPU timing down to 4 as well as CPU foul balls.

I had to leave AS Classic behind back on 17.

I simply dominated way too much.

This year I am striking out far more players than ever before. So I can’t answer what issue you may be having Gagnon.

Last night with Tanaka I struck out 8 I believe and total 11 or 12 in my Yankees chise.

I streamed for 4.5 hours last night lol. I can’t stop playing this game!!

I am getting them to chase a lot more and take strike 3 looking as well. More than any previous version.

As much as I like the clean screen approach I just think I’m going to go back to analog pitching. I’m going to keep other things the same, being no visual aides other than the meter used to pitch obviously.

Fastballs inside and off the plate. Strikeout after strikeout.

I'm playing on Legend difficulty with meter pitching and just knocked CPU Contact down a couple notches.

Balls will get crushed if you miss middle of the plate though, by everybody.

Also just another idea, if you don't simulate games, you could just go in and bump all your pitchers strikeout attribute up 10 points or whatever and see how that goes if you don't want to keep messing with sliders.

I haven't really had any issues. I'm on dynamic difficulty and I think I'm up to HOF now and just had a game with 13 Ks combined for my staff.
