    All-Star Game

Anyone play the All-Star Game? I tried it once several years ago but seem to recall the CPU treated like an ordinary game -- few or no subs, SPs going multiple innings.
I simmed it last night and saw SPs went 2 innings and every other pitcher 1 inning (Sonny Gray was even pulled after 0 IP because he gave up two homers). Each team subbed in 6-7 batters. Rosters were expanded to 32 players, every team was represented and players who deserved to be there were there. Only flaw I saw was catchers played the entire game.

Still, I won't be playing it because I can't get past the generic uniforms. Hoping next gen they'll be able to have players wear their team unis, which would be awesome.

The All-Star Game was one of my favorite events growing up as a kid. Sure it's just an exhibition, but back then, before cable TV, a myriad of highlight shows, every game available for viewing and the Internet, it was a rare treat to see some players on obscure teams that rarely were on national TV.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Can’t remember where I read it, maybe on Uni watch. But they had said that this years all star game would have all star uniforms for the game like the NBA, NHL and NFL do.

I don't like all-star uniforms and much prefer wearing your own teams uniform. The NBA did that for a few years in the late 90s and it looked awesome.

On a separate note has anyone played up to the 2021 all star game? Does it change locations each season?

If i remember correctly, in previous versions the location changes, but the uniforms stay the same.

Location will be correct for the future games that have already announced.

It's too bad the interleague schedules don't rotate like they do in real life, otherwise I'd consider playing beyond the current year in franchise.

Yeah, rotating schedules need to be in for PS5.

Honestly would be even better if we could just pick who we play in those games. I like when interleague is regional; I would play STL, CIN, PIT, CHC, & MIL every year. I have no interest in randomly playing the Diamondbacks or whatever. Probably just me.
                Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

I'm with you on that. The interleague schedule I look forward to each cycle is when we play the NL East every three years.

Absolutely. Especially since season mode no longer exists. I used to play 29-game schedule, so you could play every team once in meaningful games. Now, you'll never play certain matchups (for example, Giants vs. Yankees) except in play now, which I don't like since it amounts to nothing but a useless exhibition. I like playing games that count toward a season.

If I recall correctly, Interleague schedules rotated in the 2k baseball series, so I'm not sure what SDS hasn't been able to implement. It must be more complicated than simply coding one team to replace another in next year's schedule (for example, Pirates started the season at the Rays, have the A's be the equivalent of the Rays in 2021, so the Pirates start 2021 at the A's, if that makes any sense).

I wish they would make the AS players wear their actual jerseys instead of the hr derby uni’s.

They tried. It drags down the FPS during gameplay

I remember NBA 2k series in the early 2000s has the all stars all playing in their uniforms. They just used a lower res version of the jersey. Here is a video

You need to specify "We" do you mean the Pirates based on your Steelers logo?
