    30 team Sponsorship allocation

I've always wanted to use sponsorships but didn't want to "cheat the system" by just my team getting a bonus, so I've ran trials on sponsorships for all 30 teams to get each team their appropriate bonus based on "tv/fan revenues" from sponsorships. I want the payroll to expand year after year to simulate real life, so those Yanks and Dodgers will always have the HUUUUUGE payroll.

So here's how I allocated sponsors. Its all based off forbes new release of team value and revenues from actual sponsors, tv deals etc. I will rank in order for highest to smallest, and include a simulated (5 seasons) amount of what the team gets each year. Ultimately it will depend on the teams performance, but after 5 sim seasons they looked pretty good.

WILL ONLY WORK WITH 30 TEAM CONTROL

Any questions or wondering how I determined something let me know!

To get even more sim, I'd also suggest implement some house rules on the franchise.

After the All Star Break, if a small market team is having a good season they would get an upgraded sponsorship to improve revenue and vice versa with a top 10 financial team downgrading on a bad season.

Great write up. I only one one gold sponsorship so far. How do I get more? I just earn them right?

That, or just use stubs and buy some in the marketplace. You can pick the exact ones you want (whichever sponsorship brand you prefer), that's if you have stubs to spend (im not a DD again so i just use stubs on stuff like this)

Can this only be done if you use 30 team control?

Oh great. Yeah I don’t do DD either so I never use the stubs. I’ll take a look.

Yes, otherwise you can only do your team.

So how did you determine like what team gets what? Like how did you determine the Giants get a per strikeout rather than a hit?

I ran 4 seasons one with 2.5k/hit and then another 4 with 3.5k/strike out, and they kept earning more money with strike outs, as they are a poor team offensively (and continued a few seasons in). So i went with what gave them more money because they are a huge market.

I’m going to be implementing this. I’m in mid-May if 2020, I guess it’s better to start late than never though, right?

I got mine all set. This is a great idea. I bought all the sponsors that I need. Now that I have enough to cover all of them I might go back and buy some other brands so I can mix them up.

This is based on both market size and management.
The issue I ran into with using 3 sponsors per team is that with the games already low salary contracts being offered, I didn’t see any big teams offering big deals, so they would have tons of cap space after 4 seasons. Guessing it’s a coding thing on how much value can be in a contract.
So that’s why I only gave LAD/NYY 3 sponsors because it’s a lot easier to manage 3 teams (LAD/NYY/Your franchise) than all 30. Plus it creates almost a 10 MIL gap between the top 2 and bottom 2.
You could do your own free agent signings for all 30 days to alleviate this issue.

Well I only financially manage my franchise team. I let the cpu manage theirs. Signing logic with free agents has always been a legacy issue.

To be honest I've never kept that close tabs on the gap between the top and bottom clubs. Your breakdown makes a lot more sense on that there should be a dramatic difference between NY, LA, and teams like Miami.
