I want the payroll to expand year after year to simulate real life, so those Yanks and Dodgers will always have the HUUUUUGE payroll.

So here's how I allocated sponsors. Its all based off forbes new release of team value and revenues from actual sponsors, tv deals etc. I will rank in order for highest to smallest, and include a simulated (5 seasons) amount of what the team gets each year. Ultimately it will depend on the teams performance, but after 5 sim seasons they looked pretty good.

WILL ONLY WORK WITH 30 TEAM CONTROL

Any questions or wondering how I determined something let me know!

I love this. Implemented this in my franchise this morning. I think it's brilliant.

      Re: 30 team Sponsorship allocation

I have always employed a three tier system.

But I am going to give yours a whirl. I like the approach and more importantly the thought and attention you put into it via testing.

I will post your approach on my slider OP as well with your name as the creator of this method.

      Great stuff Mikeyo

This is brilliant! Thanks for the hard word. I wonder if you have to set this up again when you carry over a franchise with it already in place.

No you don’t....don’t touch it and it will be there. But any new franchise You have to repurchase the sponsorships.

              Re: 30 team Sponsorship allocation

While I wouldn't do it because it would mess with the realism, but has anybody tested to see what happens if every team has a Yankees/Dodgers level of sponsorships?

Mikey - how exactly do I purchase more sponsorships in the store inventory to be able to have the correct ones to allocate to each team?

I’m fairly new to the show so that’s why I’m asking

                  Re: 30 team Sponsorship allocation

Reviving an old thread, but seeing that this is a couple years old at this point, for my own use I wanted to update it a little. So, I figured I'd share it here. I didn't go nearly as in depth as far as revenue and team value, I just averaged out each team's payroll ranks over the last 3 years, and then ranked them based on that. Then just assigned the same sponsorships that rank got in this post. For example, Texas had the 15th, 20th, and 15th highest payrolls from 2020-22, for an average of 16.7. That average was 17th. So they get the sponsorships San Diego got on the front page (who were 17th on that list).
