    Injuries

Can anyone guess why after 15 games into my franchise there are still no injuries???. What could I have missed or is it to soon in season??? Thank You and stay safe.

    Re: Injuries

I've only ever had injuries when I sim. One time I had an injury when I went to select my lineup and it said they were injured before the game. But it was only day to day. But other than that I haven't seen any either except to computer teams.

Just to clarify, did you mean no injuries in the whole league or just to your team? At first I thought you meant just your team but then I reread your post. What is your injury slider at? I'm at 6 and I see 3 or 4 computer injuries a day (including the minors).

Thanks, No injuries on any team. Injuries are set on 6.

Did you start the season with CPU Roster Control “on?” If so, injuries are disabled.

Either that or you have injuries set to “off” under general options.

            Re: Injuries

That must be what it is because everything else checks out. From what I remember you have to do that at start and you can't fix it once you've selected cup roster control on/off..... Thanks. Tuff to play a season with no injuries not very realistic.

              Re: Injuries

You can create your own injuries. A bit of work, but if you select the players randomly, it is very similar to what the CPU would have given you.

Well having 'CPU Roster Control' impact injuries is a bit counter intuitive. You would think the toggle for injuries to be on/off would be enough.

                  Re: Injuries

Yeah, you would think you could just toggle an injury on/off, I know you can adjust in sliders so why not just have it on permanently and if you don't want injuries adjust slider to 0.

So what is everyone’s suggestion for the best injury setting? I’ve been playing with the injury slider on default, but 2 weeks into my regular season I’ve yet to see an in game injury for my team. Had an opposing pitcher take a line drive off the face in the 4th game of the season, and get knocked out of the game. Somehow he was only day to day afterward. The only thing I’ve experienced for my team is a notification that J.A Happ had got the flu and needed to be scratched from his start. I want a setting that will make it interesting, but not lead to every player on my team being injured.

Slider at 7 or maybe 8

                        Re: Injuries

I follow Armor and sword sliders for injury and I have played over 50 games and seen quite a few of them for my self and for the cpu...what more I do is:

6 sim...before you play the game go in to Today’s games on the schedule and sim every game then,

10 play.:..if you just do 10 without simming first the CPU is going to get a ton of injuries....I would not say it unrealistic cause heck look at the Yankees last year and look back through the years some teams have been destroyed by the injury bug, anyway, it’s just takes the fun out of it.

That is what I do and I am seeing injuries like last night for the White Sox Giolito pulled a lat muscle on the first batter, also remember that the injuries are random and very little with thier fatigue bar is high, the more tired they become the higher chance of injury...

Aaron Judge just got a concussion from swinging the bat.

Bryan Reynolds was caught stealing second, but Randy Bhadelia tore up his shoulder standing on third??? Maybe Bhadelia was previously injured? It was an obvious error, but oh well.

Judge jumped into the wall trying to rob a homer a few plays before. I just used my imagination and said he got the concussion that way and managed to stay I. A few more plays.
