I haven't seen anything different playing now than I did previously aside from the new look of the hitting feedback.

I know there was mention of better plays by the outfielders against the wall, but so far I haven't seen, or noticed, anything different in that regard. But then again, I haven't seen that many plays near the wall since the patch.
People have mentioned a few things. I haven't played the game in a while.

HR distance not showing, relief pitcher stats not showing. Those are 2 that I read.

My personal experience is that most games are fine upon release as far as game play. Every update/patch that comes out screws the game up in some way. The problem with developers is they try to make everyone happy, and that won't happen. Something can be perfect and you'll still have those who will find something to gripe about.

That is why I got in the habit of saving the exe file upon release.

Those two things mentioned are still in the game. Not sure why the poster who mentioned them isn't seeing them, but they are in the game.

This patch, having played nearly 5 games since it dropped (finishing 5th now), has not broken anything from what I can tell. The game plays the same as it did prior to the patch, other than outfielders seem to have a better awareness of the wall, and the new batting feedback information.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

How do you display it longer? What I don’t like is it’s too much too quick for me. If I new how to display it longer so I could actually take it all in I’d probably enjoy it more.

Would have been better I think to have an option to hide it unless I press R2.

has anyone noticed fewer errors since 1.13?

i have toyed with those sliders - I have the OF errors both at default (5) - I had an error last night with my center fielder (Ellis Burks in CF for the Rockies misplayed a bad hop).

But it feels like they've smoothed out infield play, so I've bumped both of those to 6 to see how it plays out.

After 1.13, it really feels like the game plays smooth, and an already great game got even better. For me, MLBTS is kinda the "gold standard" of how a professional sports game should play. I see things that are realistic, and it's like something new happens when I play each week that I haven't seen before - some animation or a crazy hit, or a wild inning - a comeback, a shutout - just about anything. And THAT'S baseball over 162...(back when that was a thing).

I followed Mookie down to LA and I’m having fun experimenting in Spring Training. I tried 6 for errors across the board last night and saw the Rockies miss a usual routine double play chance with a throw off the bag at 2nd and then miss the follow up throw at 1st by a step no outs! Going to stick with it for a while and see how it pans out.

Speaking of realism I’ve got Mookie on a .216 slump and just had a game with 3 great hits straight at fielders then kept him in to face a lefty reliever. He smashed a change up which was a home run all the way until damn David Dahl snatched it from over the fence. That was the inning after David Dahl had driven in 2 runners with a streaky double to give the Rockies the lead. The game is all too real.

                    Nice update.

Base running needs to be looked at. It’s not that good.

I have played 100’s of games.

Nothing has changed in that department. Hitting feels amazing. The sounds are still alive and well. The feel is exactly the same to me out of the box.

The variety is still very prevalent.

                      Not feeling your post.

There is the option to clean the screen of all feedback if it's too much or not need. I am a data hound so the new feedback interests me. Doesn't really change my approach, but it's cool to have the option.
