I'll just be happy to stop hearing "... to start the season... they come in ... in a real funk..."

You'd think Seattle Studios would have patched that nonsense by now.

I never understood why people thought this when India it is 40 degrees C everyday there. and they are having major issues.

Things and life are just gonna keep getting pushed back, we might not even get a vaccine. as far as sports go it is either now or never. this time next year we could be no different to where we are now around the world.
Glad we can come here and read more about this. Thanks for the "Monday Morning Quarterback" - if everyone was so smart, why don't they do something instead of shoot their mouth off?

are you guys releasing players on 1 year deals who are opting not to play? I'm debating what to do as I start up a new season. EX: Padres, Brian Dozier is opting to not play this year and is on a 1 year deal. Should i release him?

Whatever miniscule chance there might have been of getting something in the game for Franchise that reflects this lost season most likely left town with the announcement that there will be no minor league baseball this year. There's no way around it - replicating that would require a new mode, ironically, something similar to what previously existed in the game as Season mode.

And to think this is the year SDS went in on an authenticity push for the minor leagues....life had other ideas.

          ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think the best way would be to provide the 60 game season as an option before you start your Franchise. Select 162 games, which would give you the current schedule. Select 60 games and you would have the schedule based off the season being delayed. Should be interesting to see how MLB The Show responds once MLB releases the new updated 60 game schedule at some point Monday July 6th.

Still believe the option to have a shortened schedule regardless, should always be an option.

I put them on the 60-Day DL with a head injury for 217 days of whatever the length is.
