So, you get Taillon and Bell for as long as you want as long as you extend them and with no chance of them turning you down if you want them....not for expiring deals. To be fair IN THAT CONTEXT, you should pay through the nose here.
IMO, you HAVE to give up two A potentials plus Mejia (and frankly, I still think that's too little).Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Archer, a formerly established ace. Mejia, a former top prospect who hasn’t figured it out yet and isn’t even a starter.
You’re right, that was a bad deal for the Pirates and everyone questioned it at the time. But it’s still not a linear comp.

Campusano would fit the Pirates timeline better, but he and Mejia are very close in value. 1 of Campusano or Mejia along with Morejon, Naylor, and Weathers or Baez should get the job done with Taillon's extensive injury history.
