    Would you consider quick counts? That shortens games I play from about 60 minutes to 35. That may not seem like much of a difference within a single game, but over the course of 162 I estimate that’s saving 67 hours of play.

    Another idea is quick manage. Some would consider that simming, but it could also be looked at as role playing the manager.

    Finally, a favorite of mine from the past is to play all 162 but on rotating position lock. Game 1 as P, then C, and so on 1-9. You end up with 18 games at each position and games take about 10 minutes each.

      I swim all road games in Arizona, they have a really nice pool

      My normal approach is to play every game, but sim innings 2-5. That gives me at least one inning with the starter and I get to make most of the managerial moves with the bullpen but it saves me time

        I play every game every pitch. However I dont start the next season. I'll wait for the next game so I can have the real schedule.
