Wasn't it 2 or 3 years ago when SDS was touting this as a great new thing?

Does it even exist anymore?

I can't tell you how many times there's been a pop up by the mound and the pitcher won't get out of the way. Or he does and then sprints back to whisper a secret to the catcher.

Or a foul ball straight up and the batter's like, "Naw. I'm gonna stand here and get a few practice swings in. Don't mind me."

Or one that's high and playable and your player sprints over like mad to stand under the circle for 5 seconds.

Humans are stupid, but not THAT stupid.

Just saying. I hope this isn't SDS imitating the Madden cycle of hyping a back-of-the-box feature, abandoning it, and then pretending it's new 3-4 years later.

thought this was gonna be a Walker Buehler thread. no? well in that case...do as the Romans do. I never knew just what humanity ai was going to be, and sure didn't know it was going to be on the field of play stuffs. back then I was hoping it was going to something like all 30 teams would be run uniquely different from each other, especially managerial strategies, but also front office things as well. don't know whatever become of that AI Humanity though *shrug*

Man, a certain Country has a very large percentage of people protesting the fact that they should wear masks during the middle of a pandemic.

Humans are definitely THAT stupid.

But yes, there are moments when there are dumb AI moments. There isn't a game in the world that doesn't have them. I hope they can continue to clean them up, but I don't expect perfection to ever come, unfortunately.

I hate the animation where the batter starts to sprint out of the box and then randomly stops and walks when its ball 4 in the dirt. No idea what the logic is there
