The number of bobbled ground balls in mlbts20 is exponentially higher than in real MLB. It needs to be toned down for mlbts21. MLB isn't tee ball.

One thing they need to change in franchise - bobbled ground balls
They introduced bobbled ground ball in mlbts20 for some reason. It reminds me of when they introduced more pitches in the dirt and there were exponentially more wild pitches than in real MLB.

Re: One thing they need to change in franchise - bobbled ground balls
How many are you seeing per game or how often are you seeing it?
I can play full games and not see the ball be bobbled/booted at all and then there are times when I may see one a game, and others where a couple may occur.
Nothing about it screams overdone in my opinion. It happens, but not a rate where I would consider it an issue that needs to be addressed.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I do need to clarify that I'm playing a carryover franchise, not sure if that makes a difference, wouldn't think so but to offer full disclosure.
OP...which fielding/throwing options are you using?I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I haven’t had an issue with this. I may see a higher volume when there is someone playing out of their normal position, or when you have a fielder that isn’t that good. But amongst starters it hasn’t been a problem.Comment

I didn't see the link to the data. Can you please re-send it?Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Re: One thing they need to change in franchise - bobbled ground balls
I spent a lot of time documenting wild pitches a few years ago and people ridiculed my efforts and I realized I was an idiot for taking the time to do that.
I would suggest playing the game and seeing the issue yourself.≡Comment

Hope they are able to tweak it within manage mode to yield better results for yourself and others who may be experiencing this.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

The original post leaves a lot of information out, such as you play with manage mode. Its why I asked what fielding/throwing options you use.
When you present an issue, its difficult to understand the issue, and help/discuss, when everything is painted with broad strokes. You just said they needed to tone them down because they are occurring exponentially higher than in real MLB, without offering any further information into the issue you're experiencing/wanting resolved.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

We all play the game.

Re: One thing they need to change in franchise - bobbled ground balls
Odd, I have errors turned up and I'm still not sure I see it enough.
The errors engine is odd though. According to all of my testing, it works on a formula where the longer you go without seeing an error, the higher the odds of an error happening. It eventually stacks up so high that the player in question or the ease of the play become non-factors.
So there's this situation where turning errors up actually helped out my team (with it's high defensive ratings), as lower defensively rated players and tough plays were causing more errors, allowing my team's defense to be a bigger factor as the error "stack" was more often satisfied.
So, as odd as it sounds, maybe turning errors up might help with your issue.Comment

This would explain why I can go forever without seeing any errors and then have 3 or 4 in one game.
