Re: One thing they need to change in franchise - bobbled ground balls
Odd, I have errors turned up and I'm still not sure I see it enough.
The errors engine is odd though. According to all of my testing, it works on a formula where the longer you go without seeing an error, the higher the odds of an error happening. It eventually stacks up so high that the player in question or the ease of the play become non-factors.
So there's this situation where turning errors up actually helped out my team (with it's high defensive ratings), as lower defensively rated players and tough plays were causing more errors, allowing my team's defense to be a bigger factor as the error "stack" was more often satisfied.
So, as odd as it sounds, maybe turning errors up might help with your issue.
It happens with batters also in manage mode where they get a hit on the first at bat and it continues for the rest of the game.≡Comment

Interesting theory. I played a play now game with all 4 error sliders at 10....but no errors in the game.
I’ll try another one with my franchise to see if different results.Last edited by TripleCrown; 01-25-2021, 10:32 PM.Comment

i played on Manual fielding, buttons throwing, no meters tho.
After that i played my regular Franchise and got 2 fielding (infield) errors.
I know one game is a ridiculous sample but it's encouraging that even with all errors at 10 you can play a full game with no errors.Comment
