Graphics will most likely be the only difference between a PS5 and PS4 version same on the Xbox side of things. Might be some differences in franchise but that's not what the tech test is for. The gameplay is going to be the same no matter what version since they're enabling cross-play. It's not a demo to convince people to buy the game, it's a test for people to discover any potential bugs and make sure the multi-player bits work. As far as them asking what console you had upon signing up that's probably so they can track data and narrow down issues that might be console specific.

You forgot the absolute most important part and honestly the game changer, frame rate. Coming from PS4 Pro.. holy smooookes.

It’s just super old hardware. Anyone who games on PC knows the feeling haha. You can be updated one day, outdated the next. PS4 was never meant to do 60 solid, even the performance mode was never full 60. These new consoles though.. 4K 60FPS is the minimum and they are super powerful.

Hell, loading times are my other big winner. Loading into a game takes mere seconds. These are “next gen” upgrades a lot of people forget about.

I got the invitation on PS4 and was unable to download it at first with similar errors already mentioned.

I had to go to Library and search for test and it came right up. I also had error downloading with not enough space. Cleared some captured data and downloading now

will test tonight..

btw this Stress test is great for guys like me... I am only interested in buying and playing MLB the show online and online only. if this game sucks online compared to other games online I play like FIFA, NHL. etc. then it's another no buy ..

having a stress test shows me that they are trying to make online one of their top priorities if not the top. about time.

i have some high hopes for this game with it's online and cross platform play. I hope all sports game coming out after this year follow suit. I want FIFA, NHL, and PES to all have cross platform play as well. It shouldn't be sold until they have that feature.. especially for the next gen games like PES 2022

I received an invite on the PS4 and had no problem downloading and playing. My issues have come with the techtest forum and not being able to access it, assuming we are suppose to be able to. I keep getting "access denied".

So I thought I'd log out of the Show and log back in Big mistake. Now I can't log back in. If I click on my account, community forum, or go in like I want to post and click log-in, I get taking to a page that says hello gamer! Here's where you will see information regarding your account, but there is none. Just a white screen/page.

I sure as hell hope the game is in better shape than their stress test.

On that "Hello Gamer" page there are links to either PS or Xbox. Click the PS link since you're on playstation and go thru the 2 step verification process and you should get into the forums and have access to the tech test forums.
