I like how stating that a sports game has grown stale is apparently trolling now. What has this forum come to?

Nothing wrong with criticism as we all do it.

But your approach is to make broad rather boastful statements in an attempt to get someone to react so you can do as you did here.

It’s one thing to provide criticism for sake of discussion. It’s another to provide criticism for the sake of drawing attention and/or seeking a reaction.

Nothing wrong with the forum although some of the members could use a refresher in tact, civility, and how to hold a mature discussion.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

17-20 are gorgeous games on my Pro.

I do not have a 5 and probably won’t at minimum till this holiday season. And my plan would be to play 17-20 on the 5 and get that true 4K and 60 FPS and be blown away.

Then again I came from the Atari 2600 era lol.

It looks really good on the ps5 in 4k. It was worth getting the ps5 just for mlb the show 20.
About the atari 2600, I remember my brother getting one in the early 80's. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I can't imagine having something like this back in the day.

oh, I can. I imagine I would have been a fourth grade dropout.

I've been playing video games since Pong came out in the 70's.
in the 80's my favorite sports game was Larry Bird vs. Dr. J basketball, with motorsports Pole Position a close second.
but if I would have even had something like MLB 99 (an early Show predecessor),
there's no way school would have been anywhere near my periphery.
my dad was an 8th grade dropout himself (I always supposed that was not uncommon in his day) and like the apple that doesn't fall far from its tree, I know to an almost certainty I would have truly been my father's son.

I wish the Studio would redo MLB 99 to todays standards, especially something like such as taking advantage of ps5 graphics

While you are at it, could I please have a redo of NFL GAMEDAY also taking advantage of the PS5?
