I decided to make my own analysis video about the little we've seen so far. I kind of come from the other side... what we may be limited to in this mode's first year (such as the possibility of no domes). This is only based on what we've seen, so there is any chance in the world that we will be shown much, much more flexibility and customization down the line.

And away I ramble!

I wonder if you can place props in the field of play? For instance Minute Maid use to have that hill in CF. I wonder if we can get creative like that?

I hope not, there’s a reason that hill is gone. Otherwise we would get the most stupid and unusable created stadiums I’m afraid.

Yes, yes I do. I am proven right more than I am proven wrong. The video game industry is garbage right now and in no way consumer friendly. To think otherwise is naive. Hopefully I am proven wrong. But I doubt it.

If you want to get all serious about it, you’re talking about an industry that sells dopamine highs to little kids and manchildren for cash. How “consumer friendly” do you expect them to be? It’s not 1983 where these companies are geeks in their basements making geek games for other geeks. This industry is psychological alcoholism and has been for decades already.

I noticed this while I was recording, but talked right over my mind seeing it because I was on a roll with whatever I was saying. I do wonder what that's all about.

I noticed easy and pro as well. I'm wondering if easy is either preset dimensions to choose from, or alter whole sections (left, center and right) instead of more precise adjustments (like what they showed that one section that was like a cutout in center).

I do hope that artificial turf and sliding pits will be an option so that I can create Veteran's Stadium and those other astroturf ballparks from the 70s.

I’m just guessing here ( for what it’s worth) but i have a feeling they’re reusing the components already found in all ( or most ) of the existing stadiums. So maybe artificial turfs from the TB & Tor may be reused !! ( fingers crossed). Same with old style “in playable foul territory” bullpens: Oakland Coliseum and Tropicana Field

But it would probably be an aesthetic only. It's doubtful that it would bounce differently or you would get more injuries or anything like that.

Still waiting on different ground physics from the dirt and grass in these games.

Something I want to do now is make a homerun derby stadium with things to hit like in Triple Play Baseball 2003. Miss that living room.
