When purchasing digital copies of games do you have to always be online to play the game? Would I still have to be online to play franchise offline?

As long as the PS4/5 you want to use offline is activated as your primary console, you can play digital content offline. I do not know how that works for XBOX.

Digital since I own a disc-less PS5. Even if I had a console with a drive, once some @$$ decides to break in and steal your console and games along with other items it kind of sours you on owning physical media.

Xbox Series X physical copy (standard edition) since I only play exhibition and franchise every pitch and every game of 162 schedule. One season per development cycle.

It should'nt be as difficult to find one as is, so frustrating to have the money and it sells out in 20 seconds.

My experience also, also my console wasn’t nicked, just a bunch of games. PS5 is a bit big to be running off with though so you’ve got that working in your favour this time around.

Nostalgia! I haven't played a baseball game on my Xbox since 2012???

I buy the Show every year, so I definitely wanted to see what the Series X can do and for nostalgic purposes.

Physical for sure. For one I just like them and I'm old school. And two, I have three kids (two of whom now play on their own Playstations) and they like to borrow my games.
