For those with vast SOTS experience...does anyone know the sequence in which walk up songs play for a batter??

If I have 3 songs set for a player, and he bats 3/4 times in a game, sometimes I’ll have 1 song play for all at bats, other times it’s one song for first at bat, another song for the second, and then back to one I’ve already heard for the third/fourth plate appearance.

Though I have 3 songs assigned, I’ll go games without hearing one of them randomly.

Is there any theory for this or is it literally randomized?

I’m on PS4 and after I import the songs and turn off the system the songs get deleted causing to import them all over again.

This is the video of how I imported them, unless I did it wrong. Maybe just a bug which sucks. I need to walk-up to “Bye Bye Bye”

So I'm just messing around with stances and customizing some players on the ps5 version, and I went to the music tab on a player. I noticed that the fan cheers and jeers are still there and clicked on one just for s***s and giggles. It says I don't have any recorded fan yells or cheers.

I'm not getting my hopes up because this launch has been a disaster and I wouldn't put it past them that they didn't remove the feature correctly, but I have this slim hope for some reason SOTS will return.

Idk why I do this to myself.

How have I been getting by and enjoying SOTS on PS5? Well, using the PS4 version of 21, before each home game I play in my franchise, I manually assign stadium sounds, and individual player walk ups before every. single. game.

Tedious? Yes. Unnecessarily time consuming? Absolutely. Dedication to a feature that means so much? Without question. And having the instinctual urge to play the newest game (and console) despite massive feature cuts/issues? No doubt.

Thought I have been playing some of 20, my nature has just drawn me to 21 more often, and I don’t think there’s anything awful about that. To each their own. Yet, 21 has been enjoyable, despite this major roadblock, but my optimism remains hopeful it’ll get fixed. I’ve done all that I could by sending in bug reports to SDS (all that we can do, sadly)...now it’s just the waiting game.

Call me crazy, but I want to hear “whoop there it is” when I smash a bomb to right field at Wrigley, and want to feel the payoff of hearing “Go Cubs Go” ringing in my ears and echoing around Wrigley when a big win is captured.

This has been my workaround and though it’s like walking up a mountain, I’d rather traverse my way up than never try.

And no, I’m not crazy enough to do all sounds for all away stadiums as well, I just want to have the audio feedback at home games, at the very least.

Does thus bug include it saying corrupt music files after downloading on PS4 with usb stick having music directory ?? Are ps4 users completely unable to import music with bug?

I have a Xbox X and I noticed that as well. It does not work, but it does give us hope of it returning next year..

We will have to wait until someone that has a PS4 to see if it works for them. If it works for them, this is not a bug.

I have a ps4. You can do everything with sounds of the show on MLB21 that you can on MLB 20. There is just one problem, it doesn’t save! When you turn off the game all of your music disappears. It’s still on the console but the walk up music, the team music and all the separate start times gone. This game is broken

I can import music on ps4 just fine. But when you assign music to batters, teams, etc it all disappears when you turn off the game

I just noticed it today. When you turn off the game the assigned music disappears and all the editing also disappears

So essentially this sounds like PS4 stays the same and on PS5 they are weasiling their way to say it's not removed, but you are only able to set the music that comes with the game in the slots that have always been available. We've always had that setup they describe.....Wow this is a big blow if I'm thinking correctly.

It is on PS4 but it’s broken. When you turn off the game all your assigned music as well as the editing disappears

Pretty sure it's not a hardware/software issue at all on Xbox...it's the fact they probably won't allow it, maybe ever.

How many current games even allow custom music to be uploaded in to the game?

If that is the case and Xbox never allows it, that may be the end of SOTS. Unless SDS and Sony pull to have it on PS5 version in 22.

Am I the only one straight up having issues importing their sounds? I’m playing PS4 version on Ps5 and my sounds used to work just fine. Once I first noticed everything had been deleted, I tried importing again and now all I get is 0-15 songs imported due to incorrect or corrupted files. I would be fully satisfied at this point if all I had to do was reset before every game. It sounds like some people have different success.
