Spoiler: You're posting this on a forum where a good portion of people buy the game every year and while many have been upset with aspects over the years, you are the FIRST person I've ever seen declare that you and you alone should get a response to your Karen email.

I don't mind the new loadout/progression system (if it was working, that is), but being stuck with one player is horrible. What happens when I get someone to the hall of fame and retire? If I want to start a new career, I have a hall of famer in AA. No need to work your way up from nothing again.

Damn! I never even thought of that....once your career is done, you can't even make a new player to start over!

Yes but SP will have same pitches, they will look the same and have the same name and a bunch more bad stuff.

They took the Knuckleball out entirely. What the freak. I uninstalled, wiped all previous RTTS files so I could start anew and bam, no more knuckleball. What a sham. What a maroon.

This is a complete deal breaker for me. I throw a knuckleball in real life and want to create myself in the game and can't. All to appease garbage card mode players.

It's been nearly a full week, and absolutely no word back. Their lack of professionalism is rather unbecoming.

I dm'd someone from SDS looking for info on how long is it going to take to patch RTTS and I received a response. Not the response I wanted but I got a response.

In addition to patching everything that is truly broken in the mode I really think they should give users the option to delete their ballplayer and start from scratch, just like it was day 1.

The number of posts I have seen from people who say they never got pitch choices, or only have 2 pitches for some reason is quite a lot. There are people who have gone multiple seasons into their career not realizing that the main progression method was not even working.

I really hope they fix progression soon....

So I keep getting called up to the majors in season 2, so I just restart.

I have now played 3 full seasons of minor league ball and am just a 66 ovr.

I BOUGHT 2 gold archetypes too.

Some attributes just dont seem to go up very fast either. I have been playing 2B and SS exclusively, so I field a TON of balls, yet after 3 full seasons my fielding has went up a grand total of 8 (38)....yet my throwing power is almost maxed at 49.

Oddly enough, I am making the best of it and having fun though....it is what it is, but they really need to boost progression.

Last year after 3 seasons, I would have EASILY been an 80+ OVR by now...

At this rate I am going to have to play two more full seasons in the minors JUST to get to a 70+ OVR...that is kind of ridiculous...

It is due to the fact that DD progression to earn rewards is based entirely on XP now. That was not the case last year.

So to stop people from setting all the sliders to the easiest settings so that they could earn massive XP playing the other modes they locked them.

I am not a fan of the decision but that is why it is there.

You can play on rookie mode and just destroy the game. But Playing on hall of fame and using the sliders to make the game a bit harder is not allowed. Makes total sense.

Yes and no. You can make as many saves as you want and play as many different positions as you want. You just can’t look different on each save, unless you just want to change your looks each time you load up the save that is.

Also pitching is kinda borked cause each pitcher will be locked to the same style of pitches. Pitches really need to be part of the load out and not ballplayer.

So if you like different looks and names for each player or to use different pitches then yes you are boned. If you just like to play on different teams as different positions then that can still be done.
