So, stupid question:

I'm using sparkplug for my archtype, thankfully I am progressing, earning stubs etc. I am on level 10, anyone know if it ever changes to silver and gives me more of a boost once I max it out?

I ask cause if I just wasted all that time and other stuff was supposed to happen during that daily grind, then I'm just gonna a start over.

yeah it does. for instance i have my slugger on diamond and a couple different pitchers on diamond. It will show you have a new archetype pack and you have to open it

New patch broke RTTS for me. The game crashes after I sim to my first at bat. On the Series X.

Load the save, go into file management from RTTS and delete the save. Resave from within rtts.

Next, exit rtts, and load the new save. Let me know if that works.

It did not. But I'll try a few more times. Update: didn't work.

This seems to be a very common issue among both systems and generations, so hopefully they figure it out soon. Especially since the weekend is starting.

Sorry it didn't work. I had a freeze issue with one of the video segments. Would freeze, and dashboard me. Did the above work around and fixed it.

Was hoping it could help others. If you figure anything out, or fix it, please post it here for others.

When i try to field a ball in road to the show my pitcher wont throw the ball to first base so that wasn't fixed by the patch

Oh well, my fault for getting excited when I saw there was a 5.5gb patch for XBSX when I logged on tonight!

I figured SURELY they would patch a MAJOR bug like the progression issue for RTTS!!!

Well, sadly, they didn't....

And you can bet it will be another 2-3 weeks before get another patch.

Us RTTS players are just second class citizens...we don't continuously pump money in to the game, so we don't matter....

Oh well, MAYBE it is a hard bug to fix. But as I said before, if this were DD, it would have been fixed within the first few days.

Apparently its DD first, franchise 2nd and RTTS dead last.

Seems like progression is less bugged but my gear boosts aren't being applied in game.

Ill probably sound extremely dumb here, but what is XP used for in RTTS? Can I load up custom sliders, forget about XP, and continue to progress normally in RTTS?

I just played a couple of series in RTTS for the first time since the patch. After a few games on the field and 2 pitching starts, the hitting loadout is now progressing, but the pitching loadout still is not.

Is that what others are experiencing?

This is correct. Some people still seem to have some glitches with how archetypes progress, I seem to fine myself though. I just custom sliders have gotten gold on a speed archetype and everything since I began grinding on it again.

I think they did SOMETHING...

While I am not progressing EVERY game (had a 5 for 5 with 2 HRs that didnt count), but I DO seem to be progressing more often. On a 7 game streak where every game has counted towards progression.

So I guess you can say it is better than it used to be before the patch.

They still didnt fix the equipment reset when you check your loadout though. But that is honestly minor to me....I have become a pro and resetting my equipment at this point...

OK! After playing around, I was able to get the pitching loadout to start working. It apparently is only tracking for a specific loadout ONLY if that loadout was activated in the Loadout screen itself. So you literally need to return to the clubhouse, look at the schedule, and active the appropriate loadout in the Loadout menu, and then it seems to be tracking for both. Only, sometimes they give you an off day, and when that happens, you can get derailed if you have the wrong one selected.

It's an inconvenient workaround, but at least it seems to work towards progressing each loadout.

Scratch that. This time I had my hitting loadout activated prior to entering the game, and it didn't tracked. So far there is no rhyme or reason to why it sometimes counts and sometimes doesn't.
