If you guessed pitch/location correctly you got a bonus in contact/power. If you guessed wrong you were affected negatively. I just felt it penalized you too much if wrong. I always used it with no feedback so it didn't tell you what pitch/location was coming.

Re: Another year
I think dynamic difficulty is a dumb addition personally. The pitch speeds change dramatically as the difficulty goes up, and coupled with that being a change in swing timing due to the pitch speed change, it's also a change to the swing timing mechanically too as it is less lenient.
I would argue that it is best to start on a difficulty that suits you until it becomes too easy. For me, I hit better on legend than the easier settings because the pitch speed is more natural to expectation of what the pitch speeds should be on different pitches. On Allstar and lower, I swung early on 100mph fastballs. It does me no good to adjust to that and then move the difficulty up.

Re: Another year
I certainly did. I believe the disparity between fastball/off ball speeds become greater, as well as pitch break, on harder difficulties. In fact, it is really noticeable in the weekly event where you go up levels as you play.Comment

Re: Another year
I mentioned it because it was my problem. The speeds were too slow. Bumping to Allstar and HOF actually improved my hitting.Comment
