Checking back in, the Cloud is now definitely running the Series X version which certainly improves the visuals and framerate.
The only thing holding all of this back now is latency. I sideloaded the Game Pass app onto my Sony TV which is Android-powered. It's quite incredible to simply sync a wireless controller to the TV and play any game on demand without the need for a console, but sadly there's just a bit too much input delay at the moment for most games including The Show. However, I feel like we're getting very close to this becoming a viable option, and it already is for some games that aren't so dependent upon ultra low latency.
