I acknowledged there were errors. My point was that while its frustrating, annoying, and tedious, the user has the ability to "fix" their issues without being forced to wait for SDS or someone else to fix it for them.

The roster bug is annoying, disruptive, and frustrating, but at least you can still make corrections on your own, if you choose to do so.

Either way, I hope this issue is resolved soon so that people can get a roster they feel comfortable with to play the game.

I hardly think it's too much to expect a licensed sports game to have accurate rosters several weeks into the season.

Every team I've looked at needs large scale edits, hours for work for every single customer. Can we please stop accepting that developers live in a magic bubble where they shouldn't be responsible for their work? The amazing OS community bails them out on the roster side every year, and they couldn't even spent the 90 seconds required to make sure that works.

I shouldn't have to complain - they should be embarrassed and step forward before selling 4 day early access with an apology, and next steps to fix it.

More than anything, please stop making ridiculous statements like return the game, or fix it yourself. Spend 10 seconds comparing that approach to any other situation.. What's your next advice, prevent a robbery by willingly giving them your money, crank your head off a brick wall so they don't assault you?

That’s a bit extreme lol. I get your point but country was just trying to point out as of now we do have a work around. I wouldn’t personally spend the time to do it, but to each his own

I understand what you're saying, I just find it absurd.

If you ever order a medium rare porterhouse at steak house and they serve it raw and tell you if you don't like it you take it home and BBQ it you'll instantly understand where I'm coming from.

I'm tired of excuses, I paid the full $100+ for the game, I didn't send $80 with a note about Covid and how much pressure I've been under this year.

As someone who plays and loves the game as much as you do, I was just curious if you could tell me some of the most important/main changes you made to your roster prior to starting your franchise.

I added in missing players/prospects (A.J. Puk, Spencer Torkelson, Asa Lacy, etc...)

Removed SDS developers from rosters

Dropped potential ratings by 5 points for all players

Kinda curious as well. Cuz I’ll usually just start a franchise and edit the ratings as I play. I spend a lot of time just tinkering and editing, but I’m not sure which ones need massive changes this year. Haven’t played more than a game so im just waiting for all the usual quirks etc to be hashed out.

It's too bad we can edit the incorrect ages of the prospects (Wander Franco etc..) do you just accept this or have some sort of work around for that?

The only attribute/rating I change is potential. I don't touch anything else.

I just accept it. I wish it wasn't the case, but I just deal with it and go on.

If you don't want them incorrect, a workaround would be recreate them and then import them into the roster and export out (replace) the player with the incorrect age.

The live rosters were terrific until last year when they started doing the full minors crap. They got too hung up on "prospects" versus producing an accurate representation of the minors that meshes with the franchise mode.

The so-called "hardcore" franchise community begged for it and got it...welp....you reap what you sow.

I agree. I was glad I had a carry over save when I saw what they had done. I'm pretty hardcore franchise and I never cared about the full minors.

Do they still have the default rosters?

Worst ever? It'd have to be pretty bad to take that cake. Rosters have never been SDS strong suit, unfortunately.

Vlad being a 73 based on his career up to this point is justified. Stanton and Judge both being 90+ overall players based on last couple years is a joke.

Only good thing with rosters this year is the abundance of face scans.

It blew me away that Tim Anderson is NOT on the opening day White Sox roster....
