You’re not forced, atleast I don’t believe you are. They eventually give you the option to just pitch or just play the field as well.

You aren’t forced more than a couple games, I was able to become a closer only.

But you don’t have to be a two way player. All you have to do is play the few game’s at the beginning, you could even skip the ones you don’t wanna do (ie skip the hitting ones if you wanna be a pitcher or skip the pitching if you wanna be a hitter) and they will give you a chance to then pick what you want.

This will all be done in honestly the first five games and then you never have to be a two-way player ever again. I mean I guess if you hate the idea for a hot second you were both I guess that can’t be fixed, but for the vast majority of your time playing you will never be one if you don’t wanna be one.

I swear it's like people played the first game or two of RTTS and then just quit and came here to complain. As others have stated, you're not forced. I literally pitched one game and then never had to do it again.

i like it although a major notch against it is my equipment attribute raises not showing in any games . i have alot stubs tied into equipment so would like it to work correctly. not sure if its a ps5 issue or everyone still has it but its annoying as hell

It showed for one game or maybe 2 right after patch came out and not done it since and ive played over 100 games

I have found that those bumps are happening more often than they used to before the most recent patch, but it is far less than it should. In previous games this sometimes happened where they wouldn’t show the numbers correctly but that was not the norm. Now for some reason not seeing the right numbers is the norm.

No it's called giving you options to try it and if you don't want to, sim that ONE game and then you never have to do it again. It's honestly a ridiculous thing to complain about

i've played 3 seasons in rtts and it hasn't given me an option to stop being a 2-way player since aaa. it's literally forcing me to do it.

I want to change positions or have a secondary and every bit of info I see on the web doesn't apply. I'm a CF but want to play 3rd base occasionally and have the right setup to do it but no option to change. Any ideas?
