I've been toying with this change, but I still want ratings to play a part in batting. I also have a concern that changing to competitive will make pitching a bit too easy as I use meter pitching. The CPU has been having the same issues i'm having TBH. Has anyone found a significant difference between the competitive and simulation style?

My hope is that my batting will eventually even out as I continue to play on simulation, and specifically during the summer months in my franchise.

Im only 10 games into my franchise, so small sample size. That being said, it seems strikeouts are down across the league. I think the dodgers are league worst at striking out so far in my season and they are at 80. Only striking out 80 times in 10 games would actually be pretty good in today's MLB. Degrom has like 21 K's in 20 innings to lead the league. Seems low

I’ve seen no difference, but I’ve been playing with the Pirates so I don’t get many strikeouts as it is. Also only playing on HOF difficulty.

I've been playing competitive since day 1. It literally has zero effect.

I play solely on competitive. There is literally no difference. I square pitches up constantly and they go right at fielders.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

It's baseball dude. People square up balls all the time that go straight to fielders.
