Give it a rest. Every game start time in franchise is wrong. 90% of my games in franchise are day games. This is awful.

And more than half of that negativity comes directly from posts related to or by you.

Sigh...I wish that were the case...

I knew the second I saw that guy's negative post that there would be multiple responses about how this forum has been ruined, etc. etc...right on cue.

And those posts are the most exaggerated of any. It kinda feels like you should be talking in a mirror when it comes to exaggeration...

I've tried to provide some balance, but it feels fruitless. Y'all can resume whatever it is you wanna call those posts. I'm just tired of reading them on a regular basis when those posts outnumber the actual negative posts in a thread...like I said, it's more exhausting than reading the negative posts.

It certainly wasn’t my intent to derail the entire thread. This is the one game series that I consistently play year around. The start time thing is something I was just especially annoyed with because I only play franchise, and it just kind of ruins the immersion for me. I’ve been around these boards for several years and I normally try to be very positive toward the game. So my apologies for turning this thread into what it was. Wasn’t my intent and I realize I used the wrong choice of words in trying to show my displeasure. So again, my apologies.

As jeffy said, the posts coming from the individuals that defend this game to the end highly outnumber the negative posts and literally, on cue, respond in unison when someone does post something negative. At this point it's laughable... kinds like how you think my posts are.

At this point, I think your original point is even lost on yourself. It was clearly a negative post that spurred on your specific comment of "It's sad how the truly irrational posters have taken over what was once the best forum on OS." For you to act like it was something else just makes zero sense in context of this thread as there was nothing else posted here that could be considered "irrational" at that time, and the implied ambiguity of your last post really only serves to deflect. Also if we look back at the thread, the original negative post in question had already been addressed and handled very well by the time you came in with your "irrational" rant, so all you did was needlessly stir the pot at that point.

We get it. This forum isn't your nostalgic happy place any more. Unfortunately that can be said in regards to just about everything on this planet. You don't have to lay a guilt trip on the rest of us every time a post doesn't fit in with what your cherished vision of OS should be. Starting to get ridiculous ad nauseum. The forum is actually a place for people to learn about the game and share info on the good/bad. A lot of negative stuff posted is purely untrue. I'm not going to take the time to point it out because it's a couple people and I'm not quite sure what their objective is, but to say it's to improve the game is BS. If someone want to point out a problem....good, but if it's absolutely not true and it gets corrected.....good.

Not sure the forums change as any forum probably has the same guys who just post crap, and it is crap, either to get attention, or that's just them. Don't know, but I think they need attention if their posts are obviously, and I'll use the word "misleading".

The phase "fan boy" is another. I guess Countryboy might be labelled that until you get into his posts and see how many things he's criticized about the game, hell one year he didn't even play it he disliked it so much (he also helps a hell of a lot of newbies to the game), but that said, to criticize someone, but you don't mean to stir the pot, who comments on some of the BS is a bit hypocritical. This should be a "happy place" (know you were being a bit facetious), but we sort of self-police here. Sometimes people just need to be told to knock it off. No?
