MLB The Show 21 Patch 12 Available Today - Patch Notes

They still interact via PM with some members.

We were able to get a host of visual bugs sorted out for MLB 20 over the course of the first 6 weeks of that games release.

As far as posting in OS….they still did back when 20 came out. But since then yeah……vapor.

As far as them coming out with an explanation about the schedule times….I simply think they can’t fix it for existing franchises and it may cause a major problem for existing ones.

The only bright side is that it cures itself in year 2 according to many who have tested it already.

It is a bummer for those that only play one season.

I still remember when games had zero ability for live updates. The game you bought…that was it.

yup I was stuck with that lefty glitch in MVP 2004. PC users got it fixed but not Ps2 gamers.

Why have they not fixed the west coast teams home games are all day games, has anyone sent a bug report? This is ridiculous

The most likely reason they haven't fixed it, is because they either cannot fix it. Or they cannot fix it without completely messing up Franchise saves that have progressed passed games that have the times changed. A "fix" that would infuriate many more people than it would satisfy, as it would cause all franchises to have to be restarted.

Something similar happened a few years ago. SCEA put out a patch that changed the schedule, and it completely nuked any franchise files that were past the game that was changed. Forcing people to either start their franchises over, or not download the patch.

Im not sure what you're profession is. I also am not going to say these companies all have the greatest marketing plans. But I CAN tell you , in general, it DOES not garner goodwill to release a statement laying out all the things that are wrong with your game unless you are working to fix it. What good would it do to say, hey we messed up the prospect ages and we can't fix it until we rework all the code which won't happen for another 3 years



And something else.. think of the amount of ppl that buy the game.. Ive seen maybe 10-20 people on here complaining about the schedule times. TBH , the prospect ages and DEF the game times are something I would have not even really been aware of IF I were on these boards.

The prospect age thing wouldn’t be an issue if

A) We could edit them ourselves;
B) It wasn’t a major touted feature of the game itself.

If they would just leave the ability to edit ages to us, no issue.

If they could simply adjust the age like they do positions, no problem.

Or, just leave prospects to the community, and don’t market this as a huge feature when it’s halfway done.

Just my two cents. It’s a lost cause at this point. And I realize I’m in the minority.

Hopefully contact swing hasn’t been completely nerfed.

Contact swing shouldn’t be limited to foul balls only.

Not totally nerfed for sure. I hit a 2 strike HR using contact swing w Michael Brantley yesterday.
