Alright SDS, lets make expanded playoffs and universal DH happen for Franchise!!!!

I can’t see expanded playoffs being in this year. I’d rather them not rush to get it in and mess up a bunch of stuff in the process anyway. I’d like to have it accurate, but I can live with it if it isn’t.

Universal DH needs to be an option outside of Franchise. We should be able to play the game in Exhibition mode correctly. Add a toggle button if need be, but this needs to be included in 22.

With my understanding, it is not. But the worry is usually more with potential bugs that can arise with other unrelated things due to code being so interconnected. So essentially they can make the code to put in but they wouldn't have time to thorough testing and debugging.

The biggest issue here is m2o that is scripted unlike franchise. It’s built into its design not nothing you can just change.

Don’t think they can legally add them advertising is a tricky thing.

My guess is the toggle option will be there for DH and the stupid extra innings rule, (kill that option for good please )

If they can make the DH fir franchise it should be in all modes

Its not that tricky. Lets say Target ads a sleeve patch to the Giants jersey. The agreement between Target and the Giants will allow the Giants to use the Target trademark and that right will be passed along to Sony for use in the game.

Its pretty straightforward.

Right... Wouldnt it work the same like in 2k? 2k has the business logos on team's unis.

So do teams already have arrangements in place to have ads immediately? Or is this something thAt we will slowly see incorporated as time goes?

DH may happen this year. But I dont think it would be possible to get expanded Playoffs in this year. Unless they were already working on it. This is going to take a re working of the whole Post Season.

I was thinking this. But it'd require SDS to have some semblance of foresight. lol Also seeing as how they haven't touched player models or jerseys since ps3 it seems like, im not going to expect to get jersey ads this year. But maybe it leads to a cloth physics redesign for next year.

SDS is about get busy with rosters moves. Something magical gonna happen this season. I really believe SDS team hasn’t and won’t reveal how good this year The Show gonna be.

Im interested in the max 5 minor league options. Does this include like players coming when someone goes on the DL?

I haven't tracked how many times players go up and down per year but this seems like something huge as far roster management.
