I’m sorry for posting this so many times here. I keep hoping a developer will give us a yes or no answer so I can pre-order the game. All I ask for is transparency.

Am I missing something on the DH?
I’m still playing 20 but we have had the ability to toggle DH on/off/auto for a very long time.

I believe in play now mode they don't give you the option and it is based off the teams you choose. Doesn't seem like a huge deal IMO, but I suppose that option would be nice

I believe in play now mode they don't give you the option and it is based off the teams you choose. Doesn't seem like a huge deal IMO, but I suppose that option would be nice

It’s definitely a huge deal for people who don’t have the time for franchise mode and only play exhibition mode.

There's been no word on anything other than "MLB 22 has a franchise mode". The feature premiere next week should have some info.

I have to think it's gone gold already as it likely takes a few weeks to make the discs. I would assume. I think it will be the original schedule.

100%. I haven’t skipped buying The Show in over a decade either. But if they don’t even give us an option to toggle it on/off I find that to be a VERY bad look and I can’t waste money on an inferior product. I’m hoping they do the right thing.

I think that's what I prefer it to be anyways.
I don't really want any remnants of the foul stench & bad taste of the lockout in 22

Just because it’s gone gold doesn’t mean it’s not possible to change anything in a patch. That’s not saying there’s enough time to change what’s needed and test it to make sure it works properly without issues.

But I know schedule changes have been hard to do in the past. Plus since they still do (assuming no changes) a 5 year rotating schedule, it would require a lot of work in a short time. Something like you said, that would need to be working properly.

Agreed. Scheduling seems like something that is hardcoded in the game and they don't really have the ability to edit. I mean we don't even get a different schedule any year after the first year of franchise and they never fixed west coast teams only play at night
