Well maybe we will have baseball now... I guess starting Monday the sides will be meeting daily since MLB put out the deadline in order to start season on time.

Nah your gonna be hearing a lot of “ postponed
“ regular season dates in 2020 style remember when it was originally delayed 2 weeks in April ? They thought sure virus will be gone in 2 weeks!!

I wish in the Show I could choose a 14 game spring training schedule and play each grapefruit league team exactly once. I don't need a month of spring training in the Show any more than MLB does IRL

...Going to a car dealsership...hey bud that car is $30K. Well, what about $5K? Dealer says okay, we can go down to $29K. Well, how about $4K and you take out the floor mats?

and then: no, I suggest you keep the mats for cleanliness purposes. you'll need them to help with resale trade-in value in 4 years.especially when it's us you'll be coming back to in 4 years. after all, we are the only dealership within nearly 4 million square miles. how about $27k, we drop the rust-proofing, transport charge, storage surcharge, additional overcharge, finder's fee... high five!!?

They won’t. Owners don’t care and are expecting to be no games in April. But the players need to stop raising their numbers in their offers.

Agreed! I just dont get why the PA keeps raising the bonus pool $, when they’ve never had anything like this before… Its already a $20 mil win… But w/e I guess.

Im just so ****ing over this lockout… This would make 2 out of 3 years where we dont have a normal season.

As a Jays fan that would be 3 out of 3 years. Remember last year their home games were split between Dunedin, Buffalo and Toronto.[emoji22]

I'm just so ****ing over this lockout… This would make 2 out of 3 years where we dont have a normal season.

I'd like a 162 game season but if they dont get at least 130-140 regular season games in, then I'll be ticked. I can't take another ''season'' like the 2020 one, it was more tournament in reality IMO
in a lot of ways, even the 2021 season didn't feel ''normal'' to me, especially considering the Toronto situation

If this lockout moves into April w/o resolution, I guess I'll be able to play 1 or 2 more seasons in the Show than I currently have planned

Agree 2020 I just couldn't get into at all I had no interest it was like pretend season. we had a world series at least, but no stats really meant anything no sample size at all. and under 500 teams making the playoffs it was a mess.

Last year really wasn't normal either we had the stupid extra innings games with runners on 2nd and 7 innings double headers. so I say last 3 years.
