    My Top 5 current needs:

    1) a solid and balanced default roster. I don't want to see the Orioles with 10 catchers and zero leftfielders

    2) more Show 22 news. and lots of it

    3) minor league options editable

    4) tomorrow to be April 1st

    5) a grilled cheese sammich, a glass of milk, and a bowl of chili w/tomatos and crackers

        Rotating interleague schedule

        Improved trade logic

Not having Road to the Show tied in with Diamond Dynasty

        Deeper presentation options

The return of carry over saves.

            I have 1 need, 1 need only;

            An external roster editor

Creating 2800 players 1 at a time is absolutely absurd in this day and age.

Re: MLB The Show 22 - The 5 Things We Need

1 - Better logic (bullpen, callups, lineup construction)
2 - Import player option for when they add facescans
3 - Scanned in draft class from opening day
4 - More dynamic progression as to allow for a 17 year 150lb kid to be a speedy slap hitter but develop into a slower power hitter (but please don't do some sort of XP system lol)
5 - Boom or Bust system where a prospect like hitting 340 in the minors for two months can move from like an C potential to an A potential ( I think the show does the worst part of capturing this. For example Anthony Volpe, there are prospects every year who are unknown who and then end up in the top 20 a year later and there are ALWAYS prospects in the top 10 who just drop out the next year. Ex. MacKenzie Gore went from top 5 at one point to 56 currently and Kebryan
Hayes went from begin ranked in the 40's to to the top 10 in one year.

Re: MLB The Show 22 - The 5 Things We Need

I would like to see an option in Franchise Mode to control multiple teams or allow controlling CPU to CPU trades. I believe there's an option to control this when you are setting up your Franchise but once you start the Franchise there's no changing the options. I like to make my seasons as realistic as possible especially when it comes to free-agent signings and trades.

Not sure if there's already an option for this but I'd like to see if players can be added to my Franchise. For example, I start my Franchise mode but in real life there's a prospect that gets called up and starts doing well but that player may not have been on a roster when I started my Franchise. NBA 2K has a feature where you can copy a player (Player DNA) on a current roster and import them into a season.

Re: MLB The Show 22 - The 5 Things We Need

                  My top 5 wants:

                  1. Big graphical upgrade. Honestly it's flabbergasting that the game only looks marginally better than MLB 14 the Show, an entire generation later. Player models and uniforms are in my opinion the biggest need for an overhaul, along with grass and dirt textures. This game needs to look like an actual PS5 game, and not a mediocre PS4 game in 4k.

                  2. Truly custom March To October. Let me opt out of the DD rewards and use a custom roster or fantasy draft. Forcing you to only use default rosters absolutely kills the longevity of the mode. It's a great setup that I enjoy but I play one season when the game comes out and never touch it again. Adding custom uniforms and stadiums is a start but give me real control please.

                  3. Continue to improve Stadium Creator. What we got last year is a fantastic start but keep going. Night games are obvious, but we need dome and roof options, more objects and stand types, the ability to change the colors of objects, custom signage, options to add branding, more wall options (I.e. chain link, etc), more default wall layouts including existing parks, and wall ads. More options for foul territory, and placeable bullpens outside the field of play. And fix the snap toggle.

                  4. Overhauled Uniform Editor. So much more can be done with this. First of all the available font choices are abysmal. Need more realistic ones, also give us the option to use any of the existing teams fonts. How is there not a traditional block number available? More pant and sleeve stripe options, patches. Maybe older style templates like turn of the century baggy uniforms or early 80s with the elastic belt. And most importantly, MORE SLOTS! Having only one home and one away uniform gets really old really quickly. Just 2 additional slots for alternates would be huge.

                  5. Sounds of the Show. Pretty self explanatory, need custom music back in the game. In game audio is great but man I just miss having a custom soundtrack.

Also, Y2Y saves would be cool too but if that really is what was holding franchise back then I'm okay with it being gone as long as it means meaningful updates to Franchise, RTTS, and MTO.

                      4. Graphics
                      5. Graphics

At this point we need a big graphical update to MLB The Show 22 on next gen, this game has felt and looked the same for a very long time. I miss the Days when MLB The Show was the best looking sport game. I've preorder the game but honestly if the game looks the same this will be the last MLB The Show game I preorder, I don't like getting a new game for just roster update. MLB The Show has to catch up to NBA 2k in terms of graphics. I really don't wanna hear the excuse that they are a small team, I've heard this excuse for about 10 years now.

This is a huge one for me. The fact that the grass and dirt look like ps3 graphics is really off putting. Also, the actual stadiums need to be updated as well. It's really hard to not get burned out playing in the same few stadiums for 162 games when they look about the same as they did 10 years ago. More realism would go along way in my eyes, to helping me not feel like grinding a full 162 was a slog.

To add on to your post, I'd say commentary is the second biggest thing that I'd like to see overhauled. I don't mind Matt V's commentary, but it has gotten stale and needs more lines added for sure. Also, please can we get rid of Mark DeRosa. I'm beyond tired of listening to his same 3-4 lines about being a terrible hitter in his day but always looking for the "cheese". I personally am not one of those players who enjoys playing the game with all the sounds off. I like to feel as though I'm playing a realistic game with commentators talking about relevant subjects to where I am in the season and the crowd reacting appropriately to actions on the field and big moments.

Could we please get some sort of competitive mode for regular teams similar to 2K play now online. They already have teams in tiers from March to October. Miss the old play now lobbies and allow us to select uniforms in online rated. Added all these uniforms but to equip your DD team with and can select in leagues, but not in online rated?

I am all for upgrades and but when I play on ps5, I don't feel like "this game is in dire need of better graphics" tbh. I felt like there was an improvement on the ps5. Maybe I've just gotten content. And I see 2k fans saying that 2ks graphics are the same too , they just added more sweat. lol

I def think they could redo player models and the physics on the uniforms but... I don't think I've seen any game that looked truly ps5 to me (maybe miles Morales in parts) so Im not sure it would be likely MLB would be leading the charge here.

Yeah I mostly agree. The game is beautiful...especially when I play on my nicer TV...maybe that is because I skipped the PS4 generation and was playing 16 on PS3 for 4 years, but the people who say this game has PS3 graphics are being disingenuous.

I will grant them that the grass is still horrendous though. It is striking anytime I notice it while hitting. But nearly everything else is gorgeous
