While I don't disagree with you based on the track record we've seen from the Show team around interleague scheduling in multiple seasons, All-Star Baseball pulled it off years ago on PS2.

But I get it might be more time consuming than worth it due how many of us might actually want it. I still think it was a good questions to pose to them.

That new MTO off-season looks very intriguing. I'm curious to know if there's any chance of it being incorporated in Franchise mode? Especially since you can carry your MTO into Franchise.

Any changes to teams putting good and/or young players on the trade block and then "looking for" a position that is a secondary position for that player?

Any changes to logic that allows cpu teams to move players to other (secondary) positions instead of having them stuck behind other players in the depth chart?

Rosters again...also curious to hear feedback regarding being able to import rosters into MTO too.

Well this has been pointless so far. Nick has talked more about MTO than franchise.

Judging solely from a single response in this interview (and obviously isn’t a guarantee of any sort) I wouldn’t expect Y2Y saves to return next year either.

Also I don’t think we will see expanded playoffs this year unless it’s patched in later.

League minimum, universal DH, and CBT seem to be the only new CBA things we will see at launch

I don’t see them patching in new Playoffs due to the risk of causing numerous problems. Though I could be wrong. Universal DH will be an option for franchise like always so we will have that. Also hopefully they keep the option for the ghost runners in extra innings. As much as I hate it, it seems like it’s a good possibility that they’re going to bring it back this season.

I agree but he mentioned they are still looking at things so it guess it’s possible.

Yeah I forgot the universal DH but I’d expect it to still be an option.

I would be surprised if ghost runner in extra innings isn’t still an option even though it’s apparently coming back since it hasn’t been agreed upon and game is 2 weeks from release.

Also don’t expect the balanced schedule to show up in year two since he mentioned that things that go into effect in 2023 are being indexed at this point

How late do they polish things up before they put the game on disk for release? The game is probably finished just need to put it disk.

I remember why they removed SOTS due to Xbox and Microsoft but I don’t remember why they removed Y2Y.

It was due to the difficulties it imposed to try and get changes they wanted to implement, to work with Y2Y saves.
