I skipped 21 so maybe this was addressed, but the biggest logic issue for me was always the bullpen and rotation. I remember in 20 I was playing the pirates and they ran the same starter out for consecutive games.

Lineup logic is just done default attributes locked in.

Bp management never goes by stamina which is its biggest issue so it will only use a SU guy in a 1 or 2 run lead in game (no matter how tired they are) or closer innings 9

Yep sue will. Getting game April 1 midnight that’s my first job. Happy too help this way and others can name other players too for me to copy over

I’ll just have to give random 2022 stats to export but service time will be correct.

What are the short term and long term goals for Franchise? Are they planning on replacing Franchise with MTO?

Yeah I'll wait to hear from SDS what is actually new/improved/different with franchise mode.

The reasoning given by SDS according to a "source" could've been pulled from any number of open internet forums.

That what was said when SGO exposed Madden's plans for franchise Mode, and SGO was right.

To be honest with you with all the CBA crap this year, I am giving SDS a pass if franchise is the same this year.

but if they take things out of it that is when I draw the line and will not be happy.

but next year I will expect expanded playoffs.
players can only be optioned 5 times.
and all the new financial rules.

that has nothing to do with franchise. BP logic is in other modes as well that is a gameplay problem not franchise. (apart from the stamina issues. )

Has Spring training been improved? Are 20 inning spring training games gone? The cpu using a starter then bringing the next starter in for 1 inning every game gone?

You can do a lot more improvements than adding new CBA rules. I’m done giving companies a “pass” when it comes to franchise mode.

One of the previous poster mentioned he's giving SDS a pass this year because of the new cba rules. We were saying we want other franchise changes/improvements other than just those cba rules.

Example.. player progression improvements shouldn't have been put off to next year because of the new cba. but I get if they couldn't get 5 max minor league options..

And lets talk about foresight, they don't get a pass next year if pitch clock, bigger bases, shifts rules are implemented. They need to just work on these things ahead of time as a "custom rules" feature in order for us not to have to be a year or two behind on real life rules like banning shift that are going to really affect the game.

1. Custom draft classes/International free agents - Anyway this will be added this year? If not, is this something you guys might be planning in the future?

2. Weather/Rain outs - One of the old All Star Baseball games had not just rain delays, but games called after 5 innings, stopped and rescheduled if you didn't get to 5 (maybe even restarted) washed out completely and rescheduled later on an open date or as a double header. Can we finally get that in MLB the Show Franchise? Adds to the strategy of managing a season. The rush to hold a lead and get through 5 to protect it was fun. But I would happily be fine with just washout rescheduled as Double Headers or losing an open date. (I wanted to give a reason why people want this feature, since in the past they've been very dismissive.)

3. Any shot at new playoff format making it in now or as a patch?

4. Because of the lockout, how much did you want to include that won't be included this year?

5. Any shot that teams that fall out of the race will fold and start trading off players in an attempt to rebuild?

Those are some I thought of to ask. Definitely hope you see this and can squeeze these into your discussion.

I'm definitely not being dismissive, but I can already see the answer being that having games rescheduled due to rain, or suddenly adding double headers, would completely jack up the system. I would be shocked if that logistically could ever happen without major issues to the schedule logic.
