Re: MLB The Show '22 Little Things (Positive Little Things Only)
if I notice that in time and the catcher calls for an inside fb, I try to give the batter the Bob Gibson special , a brushbacker so maybe he'll keep his focus more closely to what's coming instead of what's behind him lolOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

The news ticker mentioned how the Tigers would have the first pick in the upcoming draftI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Yeah I had mentioned earlier how I really like the further you go in to the season, the more interesting the ticker becomes. The ticker is way more involved than the commentary is.JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

Re: MLB The Show '22 Little Things (Positive Little Things Only)
yeah, and I like it like that as I only have commentary play-by-play on for one game a week, either Saturday or Sunday. 26, 27 games a season is enough for me as far as play-by-play goesOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Haven’t seen all the stadiums yet (not even close) but so far Rogers Center has the best lighting I’ve seen so far.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Thomas Farr of the Reds threw a no hitter. The news ticker showed this and then shared how it was the 18th in Reds history.

I swear my favorite part of this game is getting the tiny routine plays to look right. Doesn’t happen as often as I’d like, but when they do, theyre basically why I play.
And since I can’t think of a better place to share this, I wasnt able to capture the entire AB unfortunately but have a gander at the locations in this pitch sequence:

I just ripped a double into left field with Devers to make it second and third with no outs and Bogaerts and Hernandez came out of the dugout to cheer.

Re: MLB The Show '22 Little Things (Positive Little Things Only)
Very cool thing
Playing the 2023 All Star Game. Now the two managers that went to the World Series the previous season are the managers for the All-Star game unless something happens.
Well in 2022 the White Sox defeated the Braves in the World Series. So that would mean that Tony La Russa (AL) and Brian Snitker (NL) would be the managers. Well Snitker is the manager of the NL, but La Russa retired from the ChiSox after 2022. So who's the manager? Well its Dusty Baker, the manager of the team (Astros) that lost in the ALCS.
Pretty damn coolI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Broke Nolan Arenado's bat with a Keegan Thompson inside fastball. Popped up to Willson Contreras behind the plate. Arenado stands at the plate shaking his hand from the sting as he stares at his broken bat in disbelief.
