MLB The Show '22 Little Things (Positive Little Things Only)

Hit a HR tonight that bounced off the left fielders glove as he jumped to make the catch and go over the wall.

I’ve never seen that one before.[emoji106]

    Commentary even mentioned it.

The new ticker is freaking amazing.
I’m really enjoying the ticker. I’m in May and it was giving projected Final Standings among other things.

Saw one where it stated that Mike Trout snapped an 0 for 17 streak with 2 hits against the Rangers

Mentioned how Astros needed just a win to clinch AL West

A ball clearly outside the zone called a strike and the home crowd boos the ump. Nice.

I'm with y'all about the ticker....

I had a situation where Gleyber Torres was on a hitting streak....every game, kept climbing and I kept watching for it; knowing that we were facing the Yankees soon.

Sure enough; his streak was active (I think it was at 23 or 24 games) when we started a 4-game set....and was still active after the 4-game set

It wound-up getting broken shortly thereafter....

But it was such a cool way of drawing us into an ongoing storyline just as we went into actually facing them.

I always feel a sense of pride when one of my players has a performance that makes the ticker.

LOL, me too....I think it has only happened for one of my O's players once...but it definitely brought a smile to my face.

Really love the new ticker. I played 2 games on the road on a Tuesday and Wednesday. I’ll be back home on Friday April 15th. And in both games, ticker inviting people to join us at home game for a special Jackie Robinson day.

Small details but it makes playing Franchise cool and immersive.

I don’t know why SDS never sold the new ticker improvement in their Franchise stream. Well, maybe they did and I was too focused on something else.

I love the new improved ticker. To see the hottest prospects do things in there previous game. To see how hitters and pitchers do. I can’t wait to see what else this ticker does

For all you folks that like the ticker how do you keep it from distracting you when trying to hit or pitch? I had to turn it off almost immediately because of that.

When batting, just glance at it while taking a few pitches or in between pitches. Over a 9 inning stretch there is a lot to see on the ticker by just glancing every so often. I don't look at it as much while pitching.

I’ll have to give that a try. It seems like I’m missing out. I posted the question to see if there were any ‘ticker options’ that would perhaps filter the distraction but it sounds like you just use do that yourself.

                                Thanks for the quick replies.
