According to the video today yes the first one is two weeks after launch. then weekly after that.

pretty sure managers were included in a roster update a few years ago. Pretty sure Rocco Baldelli wasn't in the game at launch, but was added through a roster update.

yeah well I won't be sitting around a few weeks waiting for that Ill be starting in 4 hours time with creating my own rosters. remember it is worse this year because of the lockout that is why 3 months worth of transactions won't be in. the default roster will be a utter mess.

I usually wait because I do excel sheets for every team in the league and i show their name, age, potential, contracts. So it gives me time to get 90% of it done. I will be sharing all these sheets in the franchise thread once I start posting my updates.

If this is the case they need to change it so that the manager updates also in a started franchise just like a updated beard shave would happen for a yankees player. it is ridiculous to have to wait around for a franchise to start because of this

They did it with odor last year and others.. there was also a year they gave hutch a haircut when he cut his dreads.

How is it an ‘updated tech test’, or ‘unfinished’? It’s the base/out of the box version of the game. Sure, there’s surely bugs and glitches that will need to be patched just like every game, but all the features are there, they just haven’t flipped on the servers yet.

The equipment may show up then, along with a roster update, and just maybe a bug fixing patch, but there won’t be any notable differences between the game now and at midnight.

That kid has had a pretty tough time understanding that someone could get an actual copy of the game early in this day and age so he's struggling to come to terms with it. I'll give him a break. He's probably too young to understand the grind it used to take to go to places hoping to find the game early like CB has always done.

I’m almost positive there will be an initial roster update with older moves and what not and then the “opening day” roster will be the one that was referenced earlier slated for a couple weeks away
