Anyone on PS5 getting long load times when launching now? After you press a button to begin it hangs at an all blue screen with a whispy cloud/fog effect while the little icon in the bottom right corner animates. It seems to take about 30 seconds once it get's to this screen before it launched into the GUI. Not trying to be nitpicky but with the NVME speeds of the PS5 this load time seems excessive. Anyone?

that isn't the PS5 that is the server lag. I was getting that on edit player screen on day 1. it's like it struggles to connect to the server making the game menus laggy.

I've been experiencing this since getting the game on Friday. It seems to be connected to the servers and collecting "today's rewards" Hopefully will be fixed soon as this wasn't much of an issue last year.

Are you sure they need to register an AB? I believe just being on the active roster for a game would count. In any case, it's entirely possible Cano will have AB by Friday; the Mets play Thursday.

Yes, per MLB rules must have an at bat or pitch in a game to qualify. Then the player and his agent must submit MLBPA paperwork which isn't always done in a timely manner. Only way Cano or Suzuki make in the game by Friday's update is if Sony negotiates their rights directly or if somehow MLB and MLBPA sign off on it and Sony gets approvals to have them in the game.

In the past Sony's updates have been on Friday's but the cut off has always been Tuesday or Wednesday for the Friday update. That's why everyone is planning on the second roster update (Mid April) to be the big one that will add a bunch of these guys that are missing.

I don’t know. I’ve already saw DD kids online whining that hitting is too hard.
