Has anyone had Ohtani hit against them as the DH in Franchise Mode?

He appears to be playing in games I'm not involved in (when I check box scores) but when my team plays against him the CPU benches him.

I’ve noticed the same thing in my franchise. Had a three game series against the Angels and the only time he played was as a starting pitcher. But his stats for the season reflect ‘normal’ usage.
