Trade logic improvement?

I know they said they've improved it, but is anyone seeing any evidence that that's the case? As far as I can tell it's as terrible as ever, basing it off what the computer has been getting up to in the background of my Rtts save.

Some tasters, Seattle traded Julio Rodriguez straight up for Robert Neustrom of the Orioles (a 28 year old C prospect LF). The Royals traded away Bobby Witt Jr for a guy called Ryan Kreidler, a 27 year old 70 overall C prospect SS. The Yankees traded Gleyber Torres (and a prospect) for Robinson Chirinos, while the White SOx just traded Eloy Jimenez for a 25 year old C prospect 2nd baseman and a 28 year old 70 rated starting pitcher. The list goes on and on of just godawful trades that I don't know how the trade generator even managed to come up with.

Is this just Rtts, as I find it hard to believe it's a different system for different modes? Anyone finding it any more sane than this? Because it feels unusably bad

Are you using default rosters? I've actually found it to be a bit better when using re-rated rosters, though there can still be a few head scratchers.

One thing I think the new trade metric doesn't seem to account for very well are players with less than 3 years of stats available. I feel like they need to keep more minor league stats for the system to work better
