Even if you ignore budgets most teams won't spend like crazy. However, it does allow more flexibility in making trades and signings. I think last year when keeping up with real life offseason signings, the Rangers didn't have the budget to sign Seager, Semien, and Gray like they did in real life.
Like another poster said, I use it for 30 team control so I'm free to make sure the Yankees, Dodgers, Mets, etc. never face payroll constraintsComment
