2 game series are still pretty common. Especially for interleague. The Braves have 5 2-game series this year, and had a 6th wiped out by the lockout.

Am I the only person who keeps trying to play with his favorite team and can’t do it ?

Not sure why but every time I start a franchise with the Mets I lose interest fast. Winning or losing it does not matter. It’s like I either get affected by what a player is doing in real life or it bothers me if they play better then they should or worse in the game

Anyone else have this issue or am I the only crazy one ?

I’m a Rockies fan and when I looked at the roster and my ratings I just thought this is not even gonna be fun to play with. So I basically turned on forced trades and looked for a couple trades that weren’t too crazy but still made it interesting bringing back some players and trading away if you other people for other people that I thought would be interesting to try. It’s probably more of a fantasy team at this point but I’m having fun playing it

Every year is the same. I try to use a different team because I hate seeing Bieber look like a aaa at best pitcher. JRam playing like he has 0 vision and discipline and etc.

Problem is, if I pick a different team I lose interest in playing because I have no connection to the team. If I use other teams I look at the Indians and pay more attention to what they are doing and stop paying attention to the te I'm using.

Now playing the franchise, I do fine and have no problem using them.

I can play with other teams but they have to be NL teams. I can only play as Cleve in the AL.

I can't do it. I get too attached to guys and it makes it hard to trade or resign them. If it's not that I get impatient and then edit everybody to 99 and dominate the league

I used to love playing with the Stros when they were awful. I get too attached to some guys though and I wind up with the same players. I just started one with the Rockies (year 2). I simmed the whole first year.

I hate playing with the Yankees because their uniform looks terrible. After all of these years they still haven’t fixed the issue of the numbers on the jerseys with no names not being centered. It seems like a non issue but the numbers on the Yankees jerseys in the game look like everyone has a nameplate with no name on it and it just looks… off. And as someone who plays every game in franchise and with them being a team with no other options, I get over seeing it a million times a day. Just me though

I find it difficult to play with real players, because of what has already been mentioned (playing too well or not as good as the real life counterpart). I like to sim 25 years into the future with 30 team control. For the first 20 years, I sim and let the CPU do everything. Then, I start drafting for whichever team I choose over the last 5 years. After the 24th season, I take complete control over the transactions. That's when I start molding the team to my liking and prepare to start playing games in the 26th season (2047 in MLB 22's case).
