Happened to everyone but on this last update everything sticked strange yours erased ..

Maybe it get erased n the previous update? I was on a long road trip in my season. Did yours get erased on the previous update and come back on the newest one?

Sony missed a Golden opportunity to have multiple commentary teams in the game. Could have kept the MLB Network Package and that could have been set with Matty V. and company.

Now that would have been grand.

I love the new presentation overall. The regional broadcast is outstanding. The new score bugs are awesome. And the park atmosphere and crowd is the best it has ever been.

Definitely a great new foundation that we can only hope they keep building off of.

I agree. This years commentary team gets on my nerves way more than the old team did. They say the exact same thing every game when they check out the lineup. Don’t even get me started on the story Chris tells about some guy giving him two suits after his first game at Yankee Stadium. I hear it every single home game it feels like. Plus the way Boog shouts players names the exact same way every time they come to bat. Oh, and then having to hear about how everyone that doesn’t wear batting gloves is a throwback. I was excited for the new team at first, but now I just wish we had the old guys back.

I know right!? Try playing a O's Franchise. EVERY GAME we hear about Chris playing in Baltimore and I have to hear the NY stuff when we play them in NY. I swear if I hear "The Velocity...." on a FB strike one more time. LOL

I know right!? Try playing a O's Franchise. EVERY GAME we hear about Chris playing in Baltimore and I have to hear the NY stuff when we play them in NY. I swear if I hear "The Velocity...." on a FB strike one more time. LOL

They talked about DJ Lemahieu providing a surprising amount of pop for a second baseman in 3 of his 4 at bats the last game.

No mention of injury fix. With 30 team control and injuries on auto, the cpu won't dl a player. They just bench them. Guy could be 1-2 months injured and they just leave him on the bench.

By 30 team control do you mean having "Roster Control" on or just having selected every team and set them up with a profile? Because I do the later, and the AI is using the DL for me. I have Injuries set to "MLB Only" for 29 of the teams, but I just select "Auto" on the pop up for all of them (I only have it on MLB Only so I know who is hurt so I can fix the lineup myself instead of the cpu butchering it).

In a later post, I posted that it appeared to be fixed. But I'd go through injuries and check. It appears they don't dl minors from what I can see. I played 4 games today, and various minors were injured on the bench and not moved to the dl. I have my cpu profile set to auto for injuries. The MLB teams move guys to dl now. Double check the minor clubs though now.

At the very least, I wish they could've kept the MLB Network graphics package. It was a nice dose of realism and, IMO, felt like the only presentation theme that was "right" to use with classic rosters. As if MLB Network was rebroadcasting a classic game.

On the commentary team SDS started in 2019 with these 2 guys, they said they worked those 2019-2022 years getting tons of lines. When they removed Matty V from audio base, pretty much replaced everything audio to me is where it took them 3 years to replace. I don't see very much changing in 1 year if it took them 3 years to give us what we have on 22.

The positive I like is there having a conversation and stop to give a play call then return back to the conversation.

It is definitely repetitive and myself I hate the suit story but especially if u play Boston the story about Jeter being Xander Bogaerts favorite player.

This can be example of what I’ve been saying for years, that they are over-complicating the entire process: why not just leave it with an on-time, context-appropriate mention of “hit and run” and leave it alone? Why the “conversational” aspect at all?

Some of the very best calls in the game are boog’s “STRUCK him out” that are right on time and sound awesome. Do they get repetitive at all? I mean he’s only saying a couple words and he says it upwards of 20 times a game, why doesn’t it get repetitive? Because it’s factual, on-time, and context-sensitive.

Droning on and on about how some dude “hides the ball well” when there’s no indication of this being true is the sort of thing that gets old. Maybe say something that’s actually true instead? Like maybe his pitch repertoire? If you’ve never faced a pitcher before (or even if you have) hearing a rundown of what he throws would be good commentary. Instead we get stuff like “he takes the ball every five days.”

I could go on and on, the point is just that in their effort to sound more “real” they put in way too much content that only indirectly applies and is untrue most of time. When they could alternatively focus on brute facts instead. Having the commentary say all the stats and factoids the comes up in the little pop-up box on The Show theme would make for better commentary than what they’re doing now with their paragraphs of nonsense they put in just to fill the dead air.

Ive been MIA for a few weeks just fired the show back up and I am trying to narrow down my problem. Im not gaining any XP while playing the game. I can still access online features in the game just no XP. Anyone know if this patch is causing the issue?
