I hear this for my pitchers averaging like 12 Ks per 9, so maybe it is based on rating. Certainly not from the stats.

This is a VERY minor gripe, as I am in love with this game, but the david ortiz, bat under the arm, two clap animation between pitches (minus the spit)....PLEASE make that go away.....it drives me nuts I hate it

Today I played with the Dodgers for the first time and Boog introduced Max Muncy as "that funky Muncy". I was very pleased.

I'm am sure others are annoyed with it, but I don't play with or against the Dodgers enough for it to bug me.....but I still crack up everytime he says this line. He just says it in such a matter of fact way.

Wouldn't bother me if they did it for only Nomar. But that Ortiz animation, every player pretty much has that animation.

Oh I have a notepad out and write down every player that has it (noting if take pitch or take strike) and right after the game, I change it to style 1 in their animations.

To me it is not a minor gripe, it is annoying as hell lol

As for the commentary, I use commentary only on special days like memorial day, July 4th, Jackie Robinson or Lou Gehrig day and a Sunday or Saturday game so it doesn't get too repetitive.

I think it is a good foundation, wish they said more names though, as a good number of my players have no commentary lines & are called by their number

What annoys me is the "flip bat around after foul ball, put hand on helmet" one. When I use Broadcast presentation I have to just skip through that one.

They could definitely freshen these animations up. A lot of them are kind of slow and lackadaisical; could use some new animations that have a bit more urgency.
