and sometimes I feel like I'm on the verge of losing control of my one team lol

My Franchises usually go something like this:
    • Tinker around with rosters and attributes for 20 years.
    • Maybe 1 out of 4 of my Franchises get beyond this stage and I end up playing like 20-40 games.
    • Eventually I'll have a game that doesn't go well for me and I just turn my PS4 off, Biden laughing & shaking his head GIF sort of expression on my face.
    • Feel bad for having quit a game I was losing and don't want to replay that game since it feels like cheating, so I just start over.

I do 30 team control. I play all the games with my Minnesota Twins. Then I control everything for all the other 29 teams. It’s a lot of time and effort, but I am crazy and enjoy it. Will spend hours at the trade deadline doing trades. I use websites that use values to make realistic trades and also news stories and websites to mimic media trade ideas that I deem realistic. I control when to call up the prospects. Send down struggling major leaguers. One of my favorite parts of last season was controlling the orioles and calling up and sending down pitchers desperately trying to make their staff not suck. I import all the real life injuries before the season starts and then I will manually make pitchers get tommy John surgery to mimic real life since the game doesn’t even have the cpu ever have that very common injury. I love it

I do 30 team control. For the team I'm actually playing with, I control everything. For the other 29 teams, for most of the season, I'm just doing their lineups and rotations, and fixing their rosters if they do something crazy like carry 4 catchers or only 11 pitchers or something like that.

Then at the trade deadline, on the actual day, I go through teams that are in "rebuilding" and decide which veterans they're going to trade. I also go through each contender and determine their needs. Then, for example, I'll assign every need that I have "OF" as a need for, and then use a number generator to decide who gets the top guy available. And I go through the league like that. Just because the CPU does a bad job of selling when they're in rebuild mode, and the deadline is too quiet.

But I let the CPU do it's thing in the offseason for the most part. Discovered I had to manually check the tendering of contracts so that A potential prospects in their early 20s weren't non tendered for no reason. But I let the CPU decide free agent signings, non-deadline trades, and 26/40 man rosters.
